Joe and I showed up to Billings for RAW. Injuries caused my ex-husband, Bryan, to be forced out of action for, hopefully, a long time... Things were never fixed after our divorce. He was already moved on, long before Joe and I started dating, to another diva, Becky Lynch. She was at work full time. The scoop from Nattie and Paige was that Bryan and Becky live together in San Diego, in the same apartment Bryan and I lived in when we were dating. A part of me was sad about it. Things between him and I at the end of our marriage weren't working out... And he just left. Not a word was said to me when he started seeing Becky. Then I met Joe, the TRUE love of my life. My one and only.
Lucky for me, Bryan was in Billings this Monday. Yippie. Joe somehow convinced my stubborn ass to go hang with Nikki so I wasn't clinging onto him. After meeting up with Nikki, we saw him, there he was, that Bearded Bastard brought to work with his fiery fake haired girlfriend. It made me sick. Secretly, I hoped a newly divorced Nicole would feel the same way too. A quick stare down between Becky and I happened before she looked to Bryan to see what words were emerging from his beard. Noticing I was standing behind them, Becky leaned in for a big, nasty, wet kiss. And I swear, vomit filled my mouth (not literally, just a figure of speech. duh.)
Although I was married to this freak, I was starting to understand why my friends and family got disgusted when we kissed. It was utterly horrifying. Seeing his lips that were once on mine, on another girl? The entire situation was totally taboo. Maybe Bryan felt the same way when Joe and myself kiss. Somehow, my mind could not process the fact that we had both moved on, to better people, at least in my case.
This dilemma of ours was awkward. I was just praying he wouldn't try to talk to me... Today.... Or ever.
