After the near death experience, we were trying to catch our breath. I was really happy that we survived the blackhole. The gravitational pull of the wormhole controlled the craft, so I shutdown the engine to save fuel. Inside the wormhole was beautiful, Twinkling lights was everywhere. I even took a selfie. We were in the wormhole for forty minutes before we bursted out into another galaxy. We were almost out of fuel, so we had to plan something. After a short discussion with Edu we agreed that we will enter the planet closest to us.
I drove towards the closest planet. When we entered its atmosphere, the gravitational pull of the planet began to act on the craft. It was obviously strong but I believe it was not as strong as earth's own. I tried to steer the craft but it was not responding. The fuel has been exhausted. The system was warning us to evacuate the craft but how are we going to get back home if the spacecraft was destroyed.
"we need to leave, Onyeka" Edu said.
I was still trying to get the craft under control but it was in vain.
"there is nothing we can do, let's leave"
I agreed with him, we grabbed our parachutes, put on our oxygen suits and pulled the evacuation lever. We bursted out of the craft and released our parachutes. It was a sad moment for us as we watched out craft falling.
"There goes our ride home" I said sadly.
Suddenly the craft paused on the air. I noticed a reddish like transparent substance around the craft.
"what the hell is that?" Edu asked.
Before I could say anything I felt a pull on my body. It was like something was controlling me. I looked at my body and saw that same substance. I turned to Edu, it was all over his body.
"what the!" I exclaimed.
The pull dragged us down with huge force. We could not do anything. We were moving straight to the ground with high force. We shut our eyes and started screaming. Suddenly we stopped moving. I opened my eyes slowly. I saw a strange being. She was like a human but she was red in colour or should I say complexion. She had long black hair, elf like ears with piercings. She was wearing a white short dress with black long sleeved jacket and huge boots.
"hello there" I finally said.
She started saying strange words. It was obvious that was her language.
"please, we are harmless, release us" Edu pleaded.
She used her fingers to control us, she pulled us close to her then she close her eyes and touched my head with her right hand, her hand passed through the glass of my suit. I felt normal for some seconds before I started to feel dizzy and pains on my head. It was like someone was in my head and accessing my memories. I started screaming. After a while, she removed her hand. I felt weak, I just dropped on the ground.
"you speak English, very strange language" She said.
We were amazed at how fast she learnt English.
"how did you learn that" Edu asked.
" I copied everything about your language from his brain, that's all" she replied then she released Edu and the craft.
" I am Mendella, what are you humans doing in my planet?" she asked intensely.
" I am E..."
" I know your names, so just answer my question" she cuts in.
"we ran out of fuel so we came here"
"are you planing to invade my planet?"
"how can invaders be as helpless as we are" I popped in. I was beginning to come around.
"you may be scouts, here to check if my planet is good for habitation"
God, she was really annoying. I know humans can be evil but we were no match for aliens with powers. I struggled to get up.
"Mendella, if we were scouts we would try to avoid being spotted, we would not leave our spacecraft to crash, don't you get it miss." I said trying to convince her that we were safe.
"all this nonsense you are saying are not convincing" she replied folding her hands and looking at us strictly.
" I will take you to my town's council for punishment" she continued.
I was really tired of her. This discussion really got me thinking about invading their stupid planet.
" you can scan my memories for any evil plan, Mendella." Edu popped in.
"no I can't, there are limitations to using that ability, I can't view your private thoughts or memories"
"so what are you going to do?" I asked.
"well, I will take you to my town's council to be judged and executed" she replied coldly.
