The Angel's Call

63 8 3

The angel called to his spirit,

tugging and pulling for his heart.

It asked a miracle off the cupid,

wishing for the beginning of a new start.

As her tears splashed at his feet,

he refused to accept;

claiming a mistake he would repeat.

He left her standing—broken and wet.

And the angel called to his spirit,

asking him not to part.

But his venom shooed away the cupid;

Thus hitting the angel point dot on the dart.

As he left her—

alone and lost.

Her world seemed to shatter.

She was left forever a fallen angel—

A fallen angel of no cost.
