Shunned

An outsider from the land of gods,

will she ever fit in?

Can she accept her loss,

and be able to forgive the sin?

The doors of bliss,

have closed shut on her face.

Can she survive scorn's painful kiss?

Break open her chains and win the race?

The softness of the cloud have been replaced

by the hard rocks on the land.

Can she get up unscathed?

And work with a bleeding heart of sand?

The clocks continue to tick.

The destiny wheels continue to whir.

Can her will keep her from getting sick;

and her wisdom hold her from temptation's lure?

Can she pass the test;

and get up for a face-off?

Or will she just be an angel left to rest,

till death relieves her of stabbing scoff?

A fallen angel she is.

Can she—

Can she get up to work back towards bliss?
