Vanish

Chapter 1

"How could you?" An important looking woman shouts as two girls bowed infront of her. "I directly told you two to catch that witch and burn him!" The fiery in her voice evident. "We are very sorry, your highness. It will not happen ever again." The taller of the girls apologized. "Good, because if you do, I'll have to kill you." The queen smirks.
"But your highness! This is the first time any of this has ever happend! We are young, and will make mistakes. You can not give us this responsibility this early on in our life time, can you?" The taller protests. "I can and I will. But with all this talk, I'm starting to question your loyalty to me, girl." The queen retorts.
"I'm sorry, your highness, I would never disobey you." The taller says. "If that is so, Kaylyn, I want you to do something very important for me. Something that should have been done long ago." The queen says with a smile. "Yes, anything your highness." Kaylyn looks up at the queen.
"I want you to kill her." The queen points at the other twin, who has yet to say a word. Her eyes widden as she turns to her sister.
"But my queen, I could never do that!" Kaylyn yells. "You have to, I ordered you to!" The queen says. "Or are you no longer loyal to me?" She raises an eyebrow. Kaylyns eyes tear up as she looks at her sister, that was now kneeled infront of her, not even trying to cover up the tears. Kaylyn raises her sword above her head, closing her eyes.
After a moment of stillness, Kaylyn throws her sword in the other direction. "I cant do it! I wont do it! I could never kill my sister!" She yells at the queen.
"If you wont do it, I will! Both of you are dead! Guards!" The queen shouts. Both sisters run towards the door, desperate for an escape. They managed to pass throw the wall of guards and out the door. Trying to loose them in the crowd of people outside, they find themselves in a alleyway, with no way to get out. With the guards closing in fast, Avery, the twin that hasnt said a word, climbed up and over the back wall. Kaylyn not far behind. Any other person, the guards for example, would not be able to do this, for they have not had the same intense training as the sisters have had.
Weaving throw more big crowds, the sisters ended there race for survival at the edge of the forest that surrounds there kingdom. They give eachother a quick glance, then run into the forest.
