Chapter 12

(Im really bad at updateing, arent I? Yeah...but anywayz lets reference back to my little oneshot shall we?)
-Lauren's pov/
I woke up in the middle of the night to asearing headache. I get out if bed and clutch my head, going to the kitchen to get some water and medicine. As I pass by the lounge room going to the kitchen, I glance at the couch and see the two cuties rapped up sound asleep. I giggle softly but instantly stop as pain shoots through my head again.
I make my way to the kitchen and search through all the cabinets and finally find the magical makes-pain-go-away pills.
I take a few pills and walk back to my room and go back to sleep.
After what seems like not even a minute, I wake up again, but this time in a field. I stand up and look around, wondering how I got here. I spot a big stone slab in the middle of the field. I walk up to in and see that there are some sort, ritual saying, carved into it.
I reach out to touch it, but before I can the grassy ground automatically turns to water. I freak out as I start to go under. I flail my limbs and my air comes short.
As I start start to swim up, and I almost make it to the surface, I feel something grab my ankle. I look down and see this... this, monster. It look like some sort of water cat human. It had the body shape of a human, ears and tail of a cat, torn cloths, twisted horns, and this disgusting looking grey skin.
I kick my feet at it, but all that came out of that was what looked like green fire restrict my movement even more. I pulls me down and I can feel my lugs collapsing from the water pressure as we get deeper and deeper.
Suddenly a flash of purple interrupts my vision and I'm on solid ground. I gasp and sputter all the water that was once in my throat. I look around and it seems that im in the same field that I began in. But instead of a stone slab, there was a big purple flame.
I walk up to it and I light up in flames. It didnt hurt surprisingly. As I walk closer, it becomes hotter and hotter. It starts to burn and I back up. This only makes the fire burn bigger and hotter. I scream and fall to my knees, wishing for the ground to turn back to water.
I can feel all of this world fall on me. It crushes me and the fire burns hotter than the sun. I scream, I think my lugs were collapsing again. My body incinerated.
I shoot up from my bed and frantically look around. I see that I'm in my room and I finally catch my breath. I get slowly get out of the sweat soaked bed and walk into the bathroom. I turn the water on and splashed some on my face. I sigh and look at the mirror.
My breath catches in my throat and I stumble backwards. In the mirror, looking back at my, was the monster from the water. But this time it had a purple fire surrounding it. I blink frantically and shake my head. When I look back up, the monsters gone and I see my reflection once again.
I let out a shaky breath and stumble my way back to my room, vision slightly blurred from the tears that I didn't cascading down my face. The tears feel like fire, a flame bright and burning anything and everything it gets a hold of. My legs start to wobble and I fall to tge ground with a surprisingly soundless thump.
I drag myself with my arms the little distance i had left between me and the bed. Once in my bed, my body gives into the pain flowing through my veins, and darkness pulls me into a shadowy wonderland. Away from all the pain and nightmares.
I fall into unconsciousness with the only pain burning into me, the pain of my own thoughts.
(God im sorry for the very late update. I have no excuse besides my laziness. So yeah... sorry again and bye for now my little sprites! -ghosty)
