You sat down your straight iron and unpluged it. You looked up into the mirror, satisfied. The one good hair day out of the month. Today you were going with a few friends to the park to hang out.

You exited the bathroom into your room to grab your phone and a few other things. Just as you picked it up, you received a text from (y/b/f).

From (y/b/f):

Hey remember Im bring Ashley for you guys to meet....don't act to weird...we need to seem not that unstable.

From (y/n):

Lol..ok.

"Ok. Let's go!" Your mom called from the kitchen. You left your room and ran into the kitchen grabbing a can of tea and running out the door to the car. You had to admit, you were pretty excited to meet this new girl. From what you hears she was awesome and down right gorgeous.

"Who's that?" You mom asked as you were getting out of the car. She was motioning to Ashley, who stood out as an unfamiliar face amoung your group of friends. "That's Ashley....
(Y/b/f) knows her." You replied. You couldnt get your eyes off her.

You stepped onto the pavement and made your way over to them. You stepped on the grass and started walking, the crisp leaves crunching below your feet.

"Hey!" (Y/b/f) spoke first as you approached. She stood up and gave you a hug like always and motioned you over to Ashley. She had a to die for smile and gorgeous red and black hair that flowed perfectly down to her waist.

"Hi! Im Ashley." Even her voice was perfect and she spoke with a smile on her face. You all got along immediately and talked for hours about ramdom things.

Ashleys phone out interupting your conversation. Shes kinda hot blarred through her phone speakers. You giggled at her liking of the song. Which made her even more attention.

"Sorry. Its my mom I'll be right back."
She stood up heading for the swings with her phone to her ear. You all resumed your conversations.

It had been a while and Ashley stilk wasn't back. "Hey Im gonna go check on Ash-" (y/b/f) spoke up but you cut her off. "I'll do it." You got up and headed for the swings.

You saw Ashley sitting in a swing swaying back and forth with her head down. "Hey Ash-" you said approaching her. She looked up at you with watery eyes and smuged makeup. You took the swing next to her.

"What's wrong?" You didnt know what else to say. "My mom called to tell me my dog died," she sniffled and you only wanted wrap your arms around her, "you probaly think Im overeacting and it was just a dog but..." She leaned her head into her hands and starred at the ground below shuffling the mulch with her feet.

"Come here." You grabbed her hand and led her to a nearby bench and sat down pulling her close to you. She leaned her head on your shoulder.
You pulled up her chin to meet her eyes and put your hands on her cheeks using your thunbs to wipe away the tear streaming down her face.

"Your not over reacting. I know what it's like to lose something. You'll be alright." With those words she leaned forward and filled the space between your mouths. You kissed back a little shocked but enjoyed it. She pulled away a faint smile on her face.

"Thanks." You couldnt help but smiling back as you wrapped your arms around her a pulled her close as you sat together watching your friends frolic around and the fall weather let the leaves fall and the breeze blow.
