We were quiet for the longest time. She hadn't really offended me, just... ugh, no one knew about me. I was the unknown child of the oh so amazing Cass's.
"I didn't mean to offend you." she said finally.
I chuckled, "You didn't offend me, I just didn't realize how unknown I was."
Katie smiled, "I'm unknown too. I don't know if that makes you feel any better or not."
I laughed.

"So, where are you headed too?" Katie asked as we waited for our luggage.
"Uh, a hotel?" I guessed.
"You have no idea do you?" She tossed her red curls over her shoulder..
I laughed, "No, I don't have a clue."
She smiled, "You can come stay with me. I am 20, I'm coming over to see my aunt and then buy an apartment."
"So like... Share an apartment?" I made a face. I had never shared anything before.
She laughed at my face, "It looks like you've never done something like this before."
"Wow, you just read my thoughts."

"Aunt Elise?" Katie called into the small house.
"Katie? Is that you?" A little old woman came out into the foyer.
"Hi Aunt Elise!" Katie ran over and gave the woman a hug, "This is my new friend Sari Cass. I met her on the plane and I really hope she isn't a crazy murderer or rapist or something."
I laughed, "I'm all of those things." I replied jokingly.
Aunt Elise smiled, "Well it's nice to meet you Ms. Cass." She turned back to Katie, "Are you hungry dear?"
Katie shook her head, "No, Auntie, but I do need like, addresses for flats for sale."
"Oh well, I can't help you with that, but I can give you a number of an old friend who used to sell them."
Katie rolled her eyes, "Okay."
After Katie had gotten the number and called it, gotten another number and called that, we had found some places in London that were for sale.
"Well right now it's seven thirty, do you just want to stay here, sleep, then go out flat hunting in the morning?" Elise asked.
Katie looked at me and nodded, "That'll be fine I think, can Sari stay?"
Elise sighed, "Sure."
***skipping two months***
The phone rang while I was dressing for work. I sprinted from my room to the kitchen to see that Katie had already answered it.
"I didn't know you were home." I commented as she waved.
"Yeah, she's here... You want to talk to her?"
"Who is it?" I asked.
"You're brother." she stuck the phone out.
I grabbed it and asked, "Cam?"
"Jake." He corrected.
"Oh, Cameron calls me all the time. How did you get my number?" I asked.
Jake sighed, "Mom told me I should call you and ask you how you were doing."
