To understand the demons, one must go back to the beginning. When the universe was young.

The worlds were watched over by the angels. They guided and protected all the mortals. But a rebellious race of powerful beings didn't like the way things were built. They wanted to be the masters themselves even though the angels didn't really own anything.

The leaders of these creatures, the Messengers, represented all the power in the universe, but in a dark way. The oldest brother, Caesar, controls the elements and caused earthquakes and volcanoes to erupt. The next one, Cipher, controlled the mind and therefore the dreams of whomever he wished. He created nightmares. The following was Atbash, who wanted to populate each world with his own creatures who only brought destruction and death. Cryptis was the youngest brother and also the most foolish. He simply wanted to be the greatest fighter and was unbeatable in battle.

Together, these brothers pledged to overthrow the angels and take the universe by force. But there was another....

Tad Strange, their distant cousin and rival of Cipher, wanted power for himself as well. However, he was a coward.

When the day came that they attacked the angel's home-world. They fought fiercely and without fear. But the angels were stronger. Lead by a young warrior named Reese, they were able to defeat the attackers and force them back into the heart of their homeworld. They cut off their world from the rest of the universe, making portal travel the only way out.

Their power, honor, and names were forgotten in their exile. Cipher swore revenge and vowed to get him and his brothers back the power and glory they deserved.

But they had forgotten something in the battle. Strange was injured in the fight and fell unconscious under a crumbling building. When he came to, he realized the had lost. Believing the demons to have given up and abandoned him there, he exiled himself to the first place he could hide. Earth.

Once on earth, he used the rest of his remaining energy to create a disguise to blend in with the humans. To this day, his whereabouts are unknown. But when he was last heard from, he left a message. That when the day comes when he will return to the battle. And all of the universe will kneel at his feet....

"All hands to your battle stations. Repeat. All hands to you battle stations immediately. We are under attack." The intercom rang out as aliens nearly ran into each other to reach their posts.

Vesuvius himself sat at the helm of the ship and ordered everyone around him. Beside him stood the female captain who looked as nervous as ever.

"Who is attacking us? We haven't reached Earth's airspace yet." She said.

"The only fools who would detect us first." Vesuvius hissed.

Right as he said that, two ships came flying past the cabin and engaged in the battle. One was a big shuttle that opened fire on the large cruisers while the much smaller craft flew around firing at enemy ships and important pieces. "Markus! Come in Markus!" Dipper blared through a microphone in the bigger ship.

"Yeah! Hear you loud and clear, Dad!" Markus yelled as he swerved the small ship around two enemy fighters, crashing them into one another.

"Alright. Pull us to their docking bay." Dipper said turning to Ford who was flying their shuttle.

"Roger that, Dipper." He said turning the ship to follow Markus. They blasted stray enemy ships coming to fight them and Markus with side cannons.

Kronos stood in the back with Kai as well as Wendy and Zak-turned-Lunuus. Ford pulled the ship around and stuck the back through the docking bay while Markus flew overhead firing at the ships coming from all directions.

"Oh zerbit." An alien said amongst the many holding guns up to the ship.

Kronos forced the shuttle door open and crashed into the crowd of guards with his sword. Kai followed him and launched his fists into any guards his father didn't.

Wendy jumped out firing a high-tech split-fire gun while Lunuus burst out and chased after the rest of the guards. Everyone was fast enough to dodge the laser blasts but Lunuus simply plowed through only feeling light stings on his shell.

They fought together and slowly marched onward through the docking area until they made it to the door leading to the halls.

Ford closed the door and pulled the ship away. He tried to fly it closer to the deck but cannons surrounding the outside of the ship opened fire on them.

"We can't get any closer!" Ford yelled over the lasers.

"How close can you get?" David asked. He and the other kids were sitting in the side seats wearing the prototype suits created by Markus.

"The only way in is back at the docking bay." Ford informed him. "I can only get that far. This ship can't handle that much firepower."

"We can do that." David said. Everyone else looked at him.

"We can?" Violet asked.

Without a word, Ford turned the shuttle around back to the docking bay. Dipper guided him straight through and David was the first one out onto the ground. No guards were left except for a trail of chaos left from the others. "I'll meet you guys at the control room!" He called and charged forward with enhanced speed in his suit.

"Wait! We have to stay together!" Violet called after him but it was too late. He had already ran out into the halls.

"We'll stay together from here." Dipper said. He pulled on the microphone again. "Markus. Come in Markus. Meet us here at the docking bay immediately."

"Roger.....coming!" He buzzed through static on his end.

The static made Dipper's stomach drop. He put the microphone down and thought a million things. He hated feeling useless when something out of his control was happening.

"He's coming right now, Dipper." Ford assured him. "What's important is we get going ourselves."

Dipper nodded. "Ok...Ok. Let's go." Ford nodded back and lowered the ship down until it was resting on solid ground. Dipper, Ford, and the kids ran out.

"Hold on." Ford said. He grabbed a large pack for himself and one for Dipper. He handed the other one right to him. "Suit up, son." He told him.

Dipper took the pack and pushed the button. A thin layer of metal plates wrapped around his body and completely covered him in another one of the suits. This one had a light blue trim with a light blue pine tree symbol on his chest piece.

Ford pushed his button and let the suit fold over him. This one was black with a grey trim and a six fingered hand on the chest piece. He was lucky to have it specially designed for his six fingered hands themselves.

David followed the trail of bodies. He didn't want to know if they were unconscious or dead. He was very squeamish on that subject. He turned a corner and came face to face with the female captain who already had her gun pointed at his mask.

He was stunned to see her. She had milky white skin, shimmering blue eyes, and glimpses of white hair under her black hat. She looked nervous yet very confident. He let his suit pull back off his head to reveal his face to her. "Samaera?"

She gasped and began to tear up. "David...." She sniffed.

He wanted to hug her so badly. He took a step closer but she kept the gun up at his head. "I'm so sorry...." She whispered.
