Kronos and Lunuus led the charge through the halls. Kronos knocked the guards off their feet while Lunuus caught them and whacked them aside with his claws or his tail. They were followed by Wendy and Kai who took out any guards left.
Vesuvius had the assassin, Zimmer stand by his side as they waited patiently for them to come. A small smile crawled across his mouth. The sounds of guards yelling and the walls getting hit grew louder and louder.
Lunuus tore the shut door out of its place as Kronos charged in with his sword ready. Wendy ran in holding the gun up while Kai stood back.
Zimmer lunged at the group but was grabbed in the air and pinned down by Lunuus who snarled in his face.
"Kronos. Welcome." Vesuvius said calmly. He hadn't even flinched when they came.
"Cut the chatter. We know why you're setting a course to earth after all this time." Kronos hissed.
"I see you brought your freakish friends." Vesuvius said ignoring him. He turned to look right at Wendy, then Lunuus still holding Zimmer down, then Kai.
"The same freakish friends who are gonna bring you down." Kronos said pointing the sword tip at him.
"Indeed. But you'll never truly stop us." He said with a wicked smile covering his fangs.
"And what does that mean?" Kronos asked.
"We're not the entire empire." Vesuvius laughed. "We're just the military assigned to take over Earth."
Kronos almost lost his straight face. "Your leaders won't find out what happened."
"Oh really? Then perhaps you could say that to my lovely Captain Samaera who's sending them a distress message as we speak." Vesuvius said with his hands folded behind his back.
Kai put a hand to his ear. "Guys come in." He said.
"What's the matter?" Dipper responded sounding out of breath.
"We've got a female captain somewhere on board who's been given the order to send a distress call." Kai said.
"David ran ahead of us. Maybe he could find her." Dipper said.
Vesuvius' smile dropped. "David...." He'd heard that name before from Samaera. The one thing that kept her from succumbing to all the brainwash.
Meanwhile David backed away with his hands in surrender. "Samaera...." He said.
"I don't have a choice, David. They threatened the only family I had left." She said with a tear streaking down her cheek.
"I'm so sorry, Sam." He said. Not the best time to call her her first nickname.
More guards soon gathered behind her. "Excellent work, captain! You've taken one prisoner!" One said.
David looked into her eyes. "Samaera. I promised you I would come back. And I'm keeping it." He pushed a button in his suit and the braces around his knuckles lit up. He charged past her and swung his fists at them leading with a left hook.
She could only watch as David knocked every guard down. When he was done he walked back over to her. "Come with me. We'll save your family and everyone."
He had the suit pull back from his hands and took hers. "Please, Samaera."
She looked up at him. "There's no chance you could defeat the entire empire.....I have an idea." She started to run somewhere, dragging his arms.
She guided him up to the cabin where the doors looked torn away. "Lunuus." David observing the marks.
"We'll have to sneak around whoever is in there. I need to send a message." She said.
