CHAPTER 5

Lucys POV

I closed the door and yawned

Ugh, i'm so tired

Wait, I have to take a shower

I went to the bathroom and stripped

Grays scent still vaguely lingered on me

I showered then dressed

Ill write a note for Gray

I grabbed a pen and paper and wrote

'I am at the guild'

I stuck it on the wall of my room, looked at Gray and kissed his cheek

I left my room silently then left the house to get to the guild.

Natsus POV

I have to think of a more reasonable reason to kick Lucy out of team Natsu.

I mean, cus if I just say

"These relationships are ruining the team"

She'll be like

"I CAN FIX IT!"

So I'll just make up an excuse.

Hmmm....

What if I say that she's too weak?

It's harsh, but a perfectly good reason to kick someone off of a team, right?

My excuse is chosen, but i still have to deliver it.

Should I be subtle?

Should I just lay it on her nice and fast?

I DONT KNOW! THIS IS SO CONFUSING!

I finally got to the guild and sat down on one of the tables with Wendy, Carla, Erza and Happy.

"Good morning, Natsu-san" Wendy said cheerfully

"Hi Wendy" I said back.

Happy was eating fish, and Erza was eating cake

Everything seemed pretty normal

Then Lucy walked in

Time to tell her the news

The only thing Natsu didn't know was that these words would change him forever.

Lucys POV

I walk into the guild and wave to my friends.

"Hey!" I greeted

I was about to sit down until Natsu pulled me over.

"Oh, hey Natsu, what did you have to tell me?" I asked him.

"Uh...I-i guess ill just go out and say it" he said awkwardly

Wait, is this a CONFESSION!?

"I-i'm..." he said

"Spit it out" I said with an annoyed look on my face

"I'm kicking you off of team Natsu"

Wait, WHAT!?

"Natsu, why?"I said as a tear started rolling down my cheek.

"Lucy, you're weak, team Natsu is a team for strong magic users and you're just not one of those people" he said

"I'm sorry"

All of a sudden Gray comes out from beside us and punches Natsu across the face.

"Bastard" he said

"If Lucys not on the team, i'm not on it either"

He looked at me with a childish grin.

Erza, Happy, Carla and Wendy overheard our loud conversation and came over.

"Natsu-san"Wendy said

"Lucy-san is one of the most kindhearted people I know"

She had tears in her eyes, but I did too

"I'm leaving this so called team too" she said

"I'm with Wendy" Carla said

Natsu was shocked.

Natsu's POV

Why? why did the plan backfire?

Gray, Wendy and Carla all left with Lucy attempting to comfort her.

What have I done?

I betrayed my family.

I was thinking of myself this whole time and look at what happened.

"Wha-what will happen to team Natsu?" I said

Erza looked at me in the eyes and replied with

"Team Natsu? Seems more like just Natsu to me"

Erza and happy walked past me to catch up with Lucy.

I look back

"Happy?" I told him

He just ignored me.

Half of the guild was looking at me with disgust and the other half suprise.

Lisanna and Levy were already running out to Lucy.

"Natsu..." I heard freed say

"Not a man at all..." Elfman muttered to himself

"Gray-sama..." Juvia said out loud

Mira and gramps probably had the most disgusted faces on in the guild.

I walked out bowing my head in shame

What have I done?

What have I done?

Those words were on repeat in my mind.

How am I supposed to face the guild?

Questions like this kept on going through my head.

Lucys POV

At Lucys house

My face was damp from the tears and my eyes were puffy and red.

I turned to face my friends.

"Why...why did you guys do that?"

"I'm weak, you dont need me" I told them as more tears started pouring out.

Erza looked me in the eyes

"Lucy, you're a part of our family, Natsu betrayed that bond, and you're not weak"

I look over at the others, they all nodded

"Guys..."

I went over and hugged them

"I love you all, I love you all so much"

We were all on the verge of tears.

"We love you too, Lucy" Gray said.
