CHAPTER 7

The dance was a week ago.

I was currently soaking in my tub having super deep thoughts.

Ive been ignoring Natsu lately, am I being too cruel?

No! That son of a bitch deserved it!

But, he was my best friend...

After about an hour or so, I got out of the bath.

I dried off, then put on some shorts and a t-shirt.

After that I grabbed my breakfast, and spawned plue.

Time to go to the guild!

I was walking to the guild until I seen Gray on the floor with bruises and a black eye.

He seemed unconscious

"Gray!" I shouted

"No, please Gray, stay with me"

I grabbed his arm and flipped him over my shoulder

Man, he's heavy

This is gonna be a long walk.

Grays POV

I woke up from what seemed like a deep sleep.

Something cold and wet was on my eye.

I slowly opened them.

Is this...raw steak?

I recognize this room

This is Lucys room.

Lucy was sitting next to the bed.

"Lucy?" I said too her

"Oh! Gray, your finally awake!" She responded,

"What happened?" I asked

"Oh, I was walking to the guild and seen you unconscious... so I brought you here!" She said with a smile.

Oh, now I remember!

Flashback

I was walking to the guild until I seen Natsu looking down at the ground.

"Oh, hey Natsu!" I told him

"Why did she choose you?" He said

"Huh?" I said confused

"Why the FUCK did she choose you" he repeated a little more angrily.

"Natsu, what are you talking about?" I asked

He grabbed my collar and pushed me to the ground.

He punched my face

I probably had a black eye.

"Natsu, I dont understand! why are you doing this!?"

"Why is lucy with a guy like you" he chuckled

"she can obviously do much better"

"Bastard" I told him

"Lucy chose me because I didnt confess to another girl, then kick her off of my fucking team!"I said as I punched him back.

"Oh hoho Gray, you just said something that you shouldn't have said"

I stopped my breath short as I hear.

"Roar of the fire dragon"

Before I knew it my body was covered with burns.

"Na-atsu" I barely said "Lucy is my waifu and you cant do anything to change that"

I fell unconscious with another punch

Back to reality

"Gray." Lucy said concerned

"Who did this to you?"

I said nothing

"Gray, please"

"It was....Natsu..." I told her

"Are you fricken kidding me!?" Lucy shouted

"I was about to forgive him too"

"Then he...then he does this"

Lucy started to cry on my chest

"Im sorry Gray, im sorry for getting you into this"

I kissed her head

"Dont cry, its not your fault"

"You know what!? Im going to confront him" she announced

"Im telling him that what hes doing is not reasonable"

Lucys eyes were stained with tears

"I love you Lucy" I told her

"Same to you" she said as she ran out the door.

Levys POV

I was sitting in the guild and I see Lu-chan run in

"Oh, Lu-ch-"

"Not now Levy-chan!" She shouted

Lucys eyes were red from crying

Lu-chan...

She ran up to Natsu and slapped him

The guilds attention was all towards them

"Natsu, you dick!"

"First you kick me off of your so-called fucking team, and now look at what you did to Gray"

"Hes currently at my home with burns and a black eye, and its all thanks to you!"

"You just couldn't leave us alone now could you!?"

"Do you want to see us suffer?!"

Lu-chan started to cry

I ran up to her

"Lu-chan, its okay" I told her

"No! Its not okay! All of the pain I have felt this past month is because of him."

"Why cant you just leave us alone!"

"I love Gray, Natsu"

"And if you cant take the hint..."

She paused

"I will never love you"

She ran out of the guild sobbing

Natsu had a flat expression on his face

He looked at me

"You never learn" I told him before I ran out to catch up with lu-chan.
