So there you stood, looking at all these new faces. You were reluctantly chosen for this new treaty the Cave And Leaf Village have signed, and decided to create a prototype program. You were chosen to join a three-man team and accompany them on a few missions, you just graduated back home, but you were so unfairly transferred here for a few missions, but there was also a chance that you would be sent home early if you don’t pass your temporarily sensei’s test. UNFAIR! You already passed! Why the second test?!
You were standing near Iruka-sensei, who you recently became acquainted too. As he gave his speech.
“Beginning today all of you are real ninjas, but you are still merely rookie Genin. The hard part has just started. Now, you soon will be assigned duties by the village. So today we will be creating the 3 man teams, and each team will have a Jōnin sensei. Which brings me a bit off topic; here today we have a Genin from the Cave Village who will be accompanying a three man team for a few missions. You all will follow your sensei’s instructions as you complete the assigned duties, we tried to balance out each team’s strengths-“
“WHAT?!” There was uproar.
Silence and anticipation filled everyone’s hearts; everyone wanted to be grouped with their friends dreading the thought of being on a team with someone you don’t even know. Iruka-sensei began to read his list as he reached the 7th team.
“Next, Team 7 Haruno Sakura, Uzumaki Naruto and Sasuke Uchiha.” It was a bit funny, the three people who were called out were all sitting in the same row, the raven haired boy remained indifferent, but when the girls name was called the blond boy jumped up as she slumped down, but as the raven haired boy’s name was called the positions were switched. “With Tanaka Kasumi, the Genin from the Cave village.”
“Iruka-sensei! Why does an outstanding ninja like me have to be on the same team as that bum?!” The boy named Naruto yelled pointed at the boy you presume is Sasuke.
“We have to do this to balance the team, understand? Sasuke’s were first among all 27 graduates, Naruto you were dead last. Having both him and Kasumi would do you good; Kasumi was also first amongst the graduates.”
Seems like you could have found your match, at the Cave Village you were first amongst the graduates also, although it was a hell of a bitch to pass a few of them.
“Bah, just don’t get in my way, dead last.” Sasuke’s words were dripping with superiority.
“What did you call me?!”
“Give it a rest Naruto!” The pink haired girl Sakura; chided. While the other girls cheered, ‘Don’t tell me this guy has fan girls.’ You face palmed.
“Ok, this afternoon we’ll introduce the Jōnin senseis. Take a break and get to know each other until then.”
Everyone flew out like there was no tomorrow, geez. When you finally exited the building and decided to take a walk you met a certain obstacle, a raven head obstacle. He was standing in the middle of the road hands in his pockets and staring at a tree, but he faced you as he caught sight of you out of the corner of his eye. He turned to face you, both of you glaring at each other. For some reason you didn’t like this guy, something about him wasn’t right.
“Tanaka Kasumi.”
“Uchiha Sasuke.”
“Tch, you better not get in my way.”
“You better not get in my way.”
“Very original.” This pissed you off; did he stop you for verbal tennis?
