To be honest, you didn’t mind medical procedures in front of you; they didn’t bother you as you’ve seen many gruesome things. But the real reason you left the room was to do what you do best, snoop around Look for clues, find out who took him, how they took him, what happened. What was Gaara’s weakness?

The first place you went to was the roof, as you emerged and the blazing sun greeted you; you noticed an odd amount of sand on the tiles. Your first clue, you looked over The Sand Village, all of the roofs were covered in sand. This meant that the battle took place in the air. So the Akatsuki member who took Gaara specializes in Air attacks, already you were at a disadvantage. You looked around the whole roof and found in total four dead bodies that the Sand Shinobi’s have yet to give a proper burial to. As you looked in the corner you was small clay made bird. It was beautifully made, and caught your undivided attention. For a moment only you marveled in its beauty, as it was very strange why such an ornament was in this area.

“That’s odd, why is something like this here?” You picked it up slowly and examined it, it was very well made. You examined it again, “It’s such a wonderful artwork, very beautiful.” As those words left your mouth, you gasped. The Birds head turned to face you then it let out a small cry, it was ear piercing so you threw it in the air just in time for it to explode. Thank god it had an ear piercing scream because it would have blown you into smithereens.

“What the hell?!” Not you’ve also knew that the Akatsuki member specialized in long distance combat, another down for you.

You entered the Kazekage building and made your way to Gaara’s office, just as you were about to open to enter you felt a presence behind you. You turned slowly already recognizing who it was.

“What do you want lady?”

She giggled as her flabby skin rose with her actions, “It is forbidden to enter the Kazekage’s office, especially under these circumstances.”

“Don’t worry about it, I’m an old friend. Plus I’m here to gather information of what happened for my team, I’ve already found out how the Akatsuki member who took Gaara fights and we know the other one is a puppet master and his role in this. I need to find out how they managed to get Gaara.”

“It is quite simple, he tried to attack the village and Gaara wouldn’t allow him. That was his weakness, he slipped one of his exploding birds into Gaara’s defenses and it exploded inside with Gaara knocking him unconscious. As his bigger clay bird took Gaara and they flew away.”

“Well… thanks for telling me. By the way how is Kankuro?”

“He is doing fine; in fact we were just going to get some of his medical herbs. Would you care to join us?”

You held out a hand. “Thanks but I’ll pass, I’m no medical ninja.”

“Suite yourself.” And with that the Old Lady walked away. Since you knew what you needed to know you decided to go back to the team. As you entered the room you were met with Naruto’s hyperactive voice.

“As soon as Sakura’s done with that, let’s get going!”

“Hold on a bit Naruto. Um… Excuse me; there is something I would like to ask. What came of the pursuit of the Akatsuki after that?”

“Kankuro weny alone after them, there were no others.”

“Then… we have completely lost them?”

“Yes we have…”

“Hmm… Well, could you please guide me to where Kankuro-kun was fighting? Though I may not seem it, I am an expert in pursui even if a small amount of scent is left behind…-“
