You took a deep breath in as you loved the fresh air in Konoha. You, Sakura, Naruto and Kakashi-sensei where currently taking a walk in the streets. For Naruto it was his first walk around Konoha in ages.
“Well haven’t you lot become strong huh? I’m amazed you were actually able to get the bells.”
“Hehe! Maybe I’ve become even surpassed you, Kakashi-sensei!”
“What are you saying? Such conceit…”
“Buy anyway, I’m still young and recently I developed a brilliant new jutsu-“ Kakashi-sensei’s sentence was cut short by Naruto’s rumbling belly.
“AH yeah! We haven’t gone home or to Ichiraku ramen yet!”
“Yeah, I’m a bit hungry after training from yesterday too!”
“Back then you guys would react to every little thing… you were cute back then…” You chuckled by Kakashi-sensei’s remark, but you got silent again.
“Hmm? What’s wrong Kasumi-chan? You seem a bit down.”
“It’s nothing…”
“Nothing seems like something to me.”
“Well, I’ve been meaning to ask you… I’ve been having trouble with my Lighting Jutsu’s and-“
“Say no more, come to the training fields at midnight and we’ll see what’s the problem.”
“O-Okay…”
“Right! And it will be Kakashi-sensei’s treat!”
“Alright Sensei!”
“Sorry, I have to create and submit a list of formations of the new teams. So it’s goodbye for now.” And like that he was gone in a poof.
“He ran away!” Naruto yelled.
“Saying something like that… he’s just thinking to continue reading that book.”
“Who knows.” You said.
“Hey, look who’s here!” Sakura pointed. You smiled slightly, it was Shikamaru and Temari walking down the road together. Strange… what was Temari doing here?
“Shikamaru! Temari-san! Who do you think this is?!” Sakura yelled pointed at you.
As they came closer you say a grin form on Shikamaru’s face, “I only know one person with eye’s like those. It’s Kasumi.”
“As expected from the smartest Shinobi in Konoha.”
“And what about this guy?” Sakura said pointing at Naruto.
“Ah! If it isn’t Naruto!”
“Shikamaru!”
“Did you just come back home then?”
“No, I came back yesterday.”
“Hehe, has any of your idiocy left you? And have you changed well?”
Sakura answered this for him by waving a hand, “No he hasn’t changed at all.”
“Really…?”
“Sakura-chaaaaaaan!” Naruto slumped. But then he quickly got over it as he got a little too close to Shikamaru and whispered, “So, are you on a date?”
“No that’s not it.” He quickly defended.
“You’re joking why would I go out with such a-“ She quickly stopped the sentence trying to avoid arguments, “There’s a Chūnin exam soon. I’m just going back and forth between the Sand and The Leaf for meetings.”
