Chapter 12

Rick was in a better condition so it was time to head out, stretching you walked down the steps and began walking a head to the tracks, getting your sketch pad out you started to copy the map, tearing the page out of the book you put it in between your legs, taking your backpack off you placed the sketch book and pencil in your bag and looked at the map, slinging your bag over your shoulder and passing Rick the map "good idea" "is Terminus actual going to be safe?" "I don't know, but stay on guard when we get there" you nodded and looked over at a rabbit "grilled rabbit legs would be nice" "yeah" you continued to walk along the train tracks, it was a quiet journey till Rick stopped and looked at the group "it'll be dark soon and by the map it looks like Terminus isn't that far, should we continue the journey or rest?" You all agreed to continue till it's fully dark outside

You walked behind the group and looked at a rabbit, looking at Rick who looked back at you who just nodded, taking that as permission to hunt the rabbit you followed it into the forest, after silently following it you got close to it and plunged the knife into its skull then tying it to your belt, heading back the way you came you heard cries from a baby "Judith?" You mumbled as you followed the cries and walked over to a basket, removing the blanket that had the shape of a baby underneath it to see it was a plastic toy baby, picking it up you looked at the back, a walkie talkie was tapped to its back, removing it and putting it in your back you kick the doll to who knows where past the trees, picking up the blanket you walked back to Rick and the group "did you run into trouble?" Rick asked and you shook your head, "I thought I heard Judith but it was a walkie talkie strapped to a plastic doll" "did you see anyone?" "No" "okay, keep an eye out, just in case they try to follow us" Michonne nodded and took the rabbit from you, tying it around her waist then walking ahead with Rick, leaving you and Carl to lag walk slightly behind

He smiled at you and you returned the smile, both walking along the train tracks and following the signs to Terminus, "okay, Terminus is up ahead" Rick pointed out and started to dig a hole so you could hide some of your weapons, after doing so you all headed towards the entrance to Terminus, looking around you mumbled about how empty it was, Carl agreed and Rick hushed you both when you all found a woman sat down "hello?" She got up and walked towards you guys with a smile, you don't trust her, not one bit.. You just followed Rick and the others till the guns were blazing, you walked out with the group and stood side by side, laying your current weapons on the ground, your palms were sweaty and your breath got slightly heavy due to the fact you've mostly have been running and the fact you're afraid of something terrible going to happen, being told to head to the carts one after the other, you guys are in for a bad time
