Excitement courses through my vines.
The ocean is calling me.
My emotions crash down on me like waves, overwhelming my senses.
I let the sea drag me out,
So far out that I cannot see land.
Everything is fine, then I am drowning.
No one knows. Everyone else is breathing perfectly fine.
What's wrong with me.
All these people are crazy. Or maybe I'm the crazy one.
I give up and stop trying to breathe.
My body goes limp and I drift to the sandy bottom.
In that moment, I know.
I'm gone.
Why was I so excited to visit this beautiful, deadly place?
