8 August : Manaus Harbour , at the middle of the Amazon River
Woke up early in the morning , and took breakfast with Uncle Anthony and Paula . We just ate a waffle and drank a hot coco .
Packed our bag with surviving kit and stuffs , idk . Uncle Anthony bought 2 bags , for exploring and food source. Paula helped him with the food source bag and she gave her bag to me . Its damn heavy , haha.
I leaved my important stuffs at home , I'm worried if my stuffs got lose along the vacation.
Uncle Anthony drove his car with us to the harbour.
On the way going to the harbour , Paula and I were talking about the Amazon Rainforest and how does it looks like . Both of us were very excited . She said to me " Ready to fill your life with adventure ? " then I said " I was born ready " with my weird voice , hm.
WOW.
When Uncle Anthony already parked the car and rented the parking spot for few weeks , I was impresed by the view at the harbour as the Amazon River were so large , that I can only saw the trees at a short range only.
We meet up with a personal narrator , his name is John. He will guide us through the way in the Amazon River. Uncle Anthony discussed a bit with John about the destination and the safest camping-site.
We took our bags out from the car and putted it on seat of a high-power engine boat.
THE ADVENTURE BEGINS !
Uncle Anthony told us on the boat " First , we're going to Iquitos from Manaus . We're gonna set a camp over there . Then , we will walk , going to Manaus . After that , we could relax and enjoy on a ferry to Belem . It was believed that there will be a romantic view at the time we were on that ferry ." Paula continued " Yeah ! ". I just keeped my mouth shut , haha.
Paula shouted loudly " WOW , THERE ARE SO MANY SMALL RIVERS HERE ! "
Since there are so many small rivers , I picked one of it because it is larger than the usual small rivers and it was connected to the camp-site . My uncle and John agreed to it .
AMAZING JOURNEY !
There were so much animals , insects , and trees over the way ! Its like we are in a green tunnel ! For this kind of view , Paula quickly took her painting book and draw the surroundings . Her drawing were pretty good , I tell you .
It was all fine , good , and beautiful.
