You felt your heart stop for a few seconds, before it started beating faster than ever. Why would he, how did he, who did, but I thought he, and I. Your thoughts was a mess as you just stood there. It seemed like time stood still, but at the same time raced away. You open your mouth you wanted to call out, but all that came out was a scream. A scream of terror and denial. You heard fast footsteps approaching behind you. They all stopped right behind you, no words were spoken. You were the first one to move. You moved up next to him, standing right by his side. He looked so peaceful, and yet it looked like he was in pain. Why? was all you could think, tears in your eyes making your vision blurry. You grabbed his hand, it was soaked in red. You hoped it belonged to someone else, but you knew it didn't. He felt so cold, but it still had a bit of warmth. You broke down, falling over his chest, hugging him tightly. Tears were streaming down your face, you just wanted him to wrap his arms around you, and tell you it would be alright. He needed help and it was now. You looked up, the others were missing, maybe they had heard your thoughts, or had you spoken them out loud? You looked at his other hand, the scalpel still in its grip. Everything was red, his hands his arms, the scalpel. You didn't want to look at his face. You didn't want to know if his eyes were blank, and milky. you placed your ear up against his chest, listening for any sigh on life. Surely there was a small heart beat, or was it yours, you couldn't tell. The blood rushing in your ears were so loud, that you could barely hear anything else. The white room was so quiet now, it seemed like you had gone deaf. But that soon broke, when the door got slammed open, and miss Pauling and the blue medic rushed trough it. Their faces were pale, they seemed scared, maybe even more than you were. They knew something you didn't. The blue heavy walked trough the door, scooping you up and swung you over his shoulder. You knew the Russian could easily over power you, it wasn't worth a try. You looked at him, "why?" you whispered, closing your eyes as heavy carried you out of the room.

Minutes seemed like days, hours were like months. What were taking them so long? How long had it even been. You looked up at the big watch in the living quarters. Only 1 hour. You fell down exhausted in the coach, and muffled your scream with a pillow. Sniper walked over to you, dumping down next to you. "hey sheila" He spoke, placing a hand on your shoulder. He knew, they all knew. You realized your helmet was off. It had problem fallen off when you had rushed to his side. It didn't matter. You sat up, looking out in the room. It had seemed like years ago that you had found him, and yet it still felt like mere seconds ago that you saw him. "doc will make it, he always does" he says, trying to cheer you up. You didn't care, what if he had brain damage and couldn't remember you. What if it was your fault. You closed your eyes, biting the inside of your cheeks. Yeah it was probably your fault. A tear ran down your left cheek, as you tried to fight it back. Sniper saw it, and he wrapped his arms around you, he was holding a blanket. The soft cloth against your skin, and his warm body close to you calmed you a bit down. He at least cared. Someone for once cared besides Medic. "do you know what his name is?"you asked gently, looking at sniper. "I believe it's Josef, But can't promise yah anything sheila" He ran a hand trough your head, smiling. Swiftly grabbing the edges off the blanket you cuddled up in it, closing your eyes. You leaned up against the thin Australian and closed your eyes. Sleep was the only way to make time pass by faster, and there your thoughts wouldn't haunt you. "I will wake you up if they say anything" Sniper quickly added, trying to calm you down enough so you could get some rest. You yawned, "thanks" your voice was cracking as you spoke. Soon you fell into dream land, were everything seemed alright.

What was the time, you were awake again. Everyone was missing, it was pretty dark too. You looked up at the clock. It was 5 in the morning. You rushed up, searching for your helmet. Stopping to look around you realized that it was stupid, there would be no fight today, you didn't have a medic. Dumping down on the wooden floor, you sighed, rubbing your face with your hands. Was he, alright? Rushing up from the floor you charged towards Josef's room. The door wasn't locked. There was voices on the other side. slowly walking up to the door, you placed an ear on it to listen in.
