Chapter 5

I didn't know what I was going to do today so I called Lydia and we decided to go shopping I came home 5 hours later with a new swim suit. I laid in bed on vine for a few hours and decided around 7 I would try out my new swim suit so I put it on and walked out to our back yard. I threw my towel on a chair and climbed into the pool. It was so relaxing just being out there alone. But of course Sammy had to ruin that for me he came running and jumped in splashing me "SAM!" He just laughed as I wiped the water from my face that's when I realized Nate was sitting at the edge of the pool looking at me. My eye locked on his body following all of his tattoos. Sam splashed me in the face again "ugh sam you're such an ass!" I said climbing out of the pool and grabbing my towel. I walked back into the house and grabbed a water from the fridge. I was standing at the counter when I felt his head on my shoulder, his hot breath traveled down my neck.

"You're making it real hard to resist you jess" "Nate sammys outside"

"yeah so?" He said kissing my neck

"yeah so go back out by him"

"mmmm fine" he whined walking back outside. That night when I was laying in bed I got a snapchat from @natemaloley I opened it and it was a black screen saying "hey" I didn't respond.

I walked down the hall with my headphones in avoiding everything today. I skipped lunch and sat in the library doing homework. "Hey" Lydia said sitting next to me "let's go out tonight"

"fine"

"yay! Pick you up tonight"

"alright"

I went home and got ready to go out with Lydia. I put on a tight black dress and a pair of heels. She picked me up around 8 and said we were going to the club. We ended up meeting some other friends there who had better fake I.Ds than ours so they were able to sneak us some alcohol. We were dancing and having a great time when someone came up behind me. "Hey" he whispered in my ear I turned to see Jackson "hey!" I said hugging him. We were drinking and dancing and having fun. I wasn't thinking of Nate and I was loving it. We spammed my snap story with pictures of all of us. There were pictures of us drinking, videos of us dancing and pictures of Jackson and I. 2am rolled around and we were all wasted having the time of our lives. I was dancing when I felt someone grab my waist it kind of hurt and scared me. He grabbed my arm pulling me with him

"Nate you're hurting me"

"We need to leave"

"you're not my mom"

"ya well i know what's best so let's go" "what about my friends?"

"They'll be fine" he said in an angry tone. The rest of the car ride was silent until we pulled in his driveway "this isn't my house" "nope but you're sure as hell not going home like this"

"you're still not the boss of me"

"did you smoke" "noooo" I giggled

"Jess I know what pot smells like"

"then obviously you know I smoked" he was silent as He laid me in his bed and laid next to me keeping his distance. I started tossing and turning he was chasing me and i couldn't get away I was screaming for help "Jess! Wake up" Nate shook me i burst into tears. He pulled me close "shhh it was just a bad dream, it's ok I'm here with you" I calmed down and My eyelids got heavy again "I'm here to protect you baby" Nate whispered as I fell back asleep.

I woke up and Nate was turned away from me so I sat up and rubbed my eyes man my head hurt. I didn't remember much of last night except for my bad dream. I haven't had a dream like that in a long time. I felt safe with Nate I wish I didn't, he's just going to hurt me. I was sitting with my head on my knees when he woke up. "You ok?"
