Truth in a Song

Sierra's POV

It's been a month since I've moved out. Michael has released his Bad Album and he's going on tour soon. He'll need me to go with him. Michael and I head out in a few weeks.

Daniel will be coming with me. I need him with me. My feelings for Michael are growing every time I see him. Whenever we're in the same room, I have to fight the urge to kiss him.

I go into my living room and sit down at my piano. A song idea as been lingering in my head since my feelings for Michael reappeared.

I start to replay the piano keys in my head.

Soon, the words just came to me.

I stop playing.

"That was beautiful. "

I turn around. Daniel smiles at me. I smile back. He walks over and sits next to me. He says,

"That should be on the album. "

I nod and say, "It will be. "

He brushes my hair behind my ear. He says,

"You seem distant. "

I look at him and say, "I just have a lot on my mind. "

He nods and says, "I'm going to finish packing. "

I nod. He gets up and goes back into the bedroom. I sigh and get up. I have been distant from Daniel, but I always want him around. He's been good to me, but I don't know if that's enough anymore.

*Ding Dong*

I head towards my front door. I open it. Michael smiles at me and says,

"Hey! "

I smile and say, "Hey, come on in. "

Michael walks in. He looks around and says,

"Nice place you got here. "

I laugh and say, "Not as nice as yours. "

He laughs and says, "You may be right. "

I push him playfully and say,

"Hey! "

He laughs and says,

"I'm just playing. "

I lead him into the living room and we sit down. Michael sighs and says,

"I think Lisa is cheating on me. "

I look at him surprised and confused and ask,

"What? Why? "

He sighs and tells me about the phone call he got a month ago. Then told me about flowers showing up at his doorsteps addressed to Lisa.

"She's on the phone all the time and when I enter the room, she leaves the room. "

I say, "Well, maybe she's talking to a friend and as for the flowers, maybe she has a crazy fan. "

Michael sighs and sits back on the couch. He asks,

"Why do you do that? "

I look at him confused and say,

"Do what? "

"Make excuses for Lisa. "

That was unexpected. I say,

"I'm not making excuses. "

"Yes you are. Every time I tell you something about Lisa, you give her an excuse. I heard what you said to Lisa that night I was crying. "

I stand and say, "I just want y'all to work! You seem happy with her so I want y'all to work! "

Michael stands and says, "I'm gonna go. I'll see you later. "

Michael leaves. I don't know what that was about.

Michael's POV

Sierra and I leave in a few hours. As I make sure I have everything, Scott runs into my room and says,

"Michael! You have to come listen to this! Come on! "

I follow him. Shanone is in the living room. They are listening to the radio. Shanone says,

"Sierra released a single. It's been on the radio all day! Michael...I think it's about you. "

AN: I'm going to start where Sierra stopped in the song.

She still loves me. I did say we would always be together. But.. She messed it up! Why is she acting like she didn't do anything? Unless..was Janet trying to tell me something about that night years ago? The night Sierra cheated on me?

Did I misunderstood what I saw?

I grab the phone and call Janet.

"Hey! Janet, I need you to come over right now! "

"What's wrong Mike? "

"Just come over. I need to talk to you in person. "

"Ok...I'll be right there. "

I hang up. I'm going to figure this out now.
