Sierra's POV
I'm on my way to Michael's concert. I'm so excited. I can't wait to see him! I have no idea what's going to happen when we get face to face. I'm probably gonna pounce on him.
I giggle to myself. Will, my driver, pulls up to the meeting spot. Michael is suppose to meet me here. I get out and go into the building. As I lean against the wall, waiting, I see a shadow outside the door. I smile. The door opens and the guy walks in. My smile goes away when I see it's Steve.
He smiles and says, "You didn't tell me you were back in town. I had to find out from the David Letterman Show."
I say, "Sorry about that. What are you doing here? I'm waiting for someone. "
He walks over to me and says, "You know, that first night we hung out, I couldn't keep my eyes off you. You were so alive and free. You still are today."
I force a smile and say, "That's very sweet. I'm waiting for someone so if you could hurry this up, I'll appreciate it."
He laughs and says, "I'm trying to spill my heart out to you, the famous Sexy Sierra, and you turn me down so harshly. "
I look at him and say, "I'm sorry. I'm waiting for the man in my life. To him, I'm not the famous Sexy Sierra, I'm simply Sierra Thomas. You need to learn how to address certain people. "
"What did I do to make you so mad at me?"
"Are you forgetting the time you got me arrested?! That was your damn crack! My dad punished me for a year! A God damn year!"
"That was settled as a misunderstanding. No one was charged. "
"That doesn't matter! The point is you would've let me go down for the shit you were carrying! I can't associate myself with someone who would do that! "
He sighs and says, "I'm sorry. I was scared and I didn't have money to hire a lawyer if I needed one. Your father took care of everything. I knew you would be okay."
I grit my teeth. "Whatever. Could you leave now? "
Steve turns around and looks out the door. I can't see what he's looking at. He turns around, grabs my face, and places a smooch on me.
I'm caught by surprise. I grab his hands that are on my face and push him off. He looks hurt. I say angrily,
"What the fuck man!"
He looks out the door again. I look and see.... Michael! My eyes widen. He has tears in his eyes! He turns and begins to run back to his limo. I run out the door and yell,
"Michael!"
He ignores me and gets in his limo. The limo speeds off. I turn to see Steve looking at me smiling. I say,
"You knew he was there! You asshole!"
He shrugs his shoulders and says, "Anything for money."
Anger fills my body. I kick him as hard as I can in the balls. He falls to his knees. Tears escape from his eyes. He can't talk. I right hook him. He falls over. I spit on him and get in my limo.
"Go to the concert, Will."

I'm ten minutes late because of the damn traffic! So many fans. I walk through the doors in the back. Security goes to stop me, but sees who I am. They let me through. I walk down some hallways and finally make it to backstage.
People were walking fast making sure everything was working properly. Michael's on stage. Even though I'm backstage, I could still feel the fan's energy.
I make my way to the side of the stage (not on stage) and watch Michael. He's so free on stage. He's so open. He doesn't even seem to be bothered about what happened. I have to explain to him what happened.
I feel arms wrap tight around me. I turn around quickly. It was just Janet. She says,
"I'm so glad to see you!"
I pull her into an embrace. I say,
"You're gorgeous, Janet. What happened to you?"
When we separate she nudges me and asks,
"Are you saying I was ugly as a kid?"
I giggle and say, "Well..."
She laughs and pokes me. I giggle. She pulls me to the little buffet table. She whispers,
"She's here."
I whisper back, "Who? Lisa?"
She says, "Is that her name? I didn't bother to learn it."
I giggle. "Janet... I have to tell you something? "
"What?"
"That asshole Steve kissed me earlier and Michael saw it. He ran back to his limo before I could explain. "
"Steve that asshole who got you arrested? "
I nod. "I kicked him in his balls and punched him."
I show her my hand. It was a very serious, strong punch. My knuckles are red and bruised. Janet eyes widen, then she smiles.
"Bastard deserved it."
I nod and laugh. "Michael looked very hurt. I don't know if he'll let me explain."
"If he won't let you explain, then I will. Just tell me exactly what happened. "
I explain everything that happened. She nods and says,
"I'll make sure to tell him if he decides to be a woman."
I giggle.

The concert just ended. I'm standing behind the crowd of people who are greeting him back stage. When he goes over to them, one gives him a towel, another gives him water, another fixes his hair. He's getting a true pampering.
Once the crowd decreases, I decid to make my move, but just as I took one step toward him, I see Lisa running up to him. She hugs him so tight. He wraps his arms around her waist. He has the biggest smile on his face.
My heart begins to shatter as I realize he doesn't love me anymore. I don't want to go over there and mess up his night some more. He clearly likes Lisa.
I start to walk away. Janet stops me and says,
"Where are you going? Aren't you going to explain what happened? "
I shake my head. "He'll be fine with Lisa. Don't tell him anything, Janet. Just let it be. I'll see you in a few more years."
"You're still coming back."
I smile and say, "Of course I am. We can all still be friends. Just like it use to be. Oh, and be kind to Lisa. She's the only person now who can make him smile like that."
I hug her. Forcing back tears. We separate. I see a tear falling down Janet's cheek. I smile and wipe it away.
"I'll be back Janet. "
She nods. I walk out of the back and into my limo. Things will never be the same between us. I hate that....
