Akise Aru x Reader

Chapter 5

   S-so if  Akise wasn't with me I would've died...

   Finally after we were far away from the fallen school wing, I saw in the corner of my eye that my diary skipped through pages and scribbled the old passage with the dead end flag and ripped it out while next it made a new passage:

   11:13 Akise asks if he can join you to eat on the roof, you said yes
   11:16 Uryuu Minene (9th) bombs the school while you and Akise are on the roof
   11:21 Akise picks you up and gets out of the school safely

   We looked at our school as it sat in ruins. I soon broke the silence between me and him.

   "Akise... How did you know the building was about to collapse?" I said looking at him

   He didn't answer but only smirked and said"(y/n), would you like to be my assistant in crime?"

   I scoffed"a-assistant? Why am I the assistant?"

   "So you accept?"

   "...*sigh* fine, but I'm not going to be YOUR assistant, got it?"

      "Then it's a deal" as he grinned happily

   "But... Why did you want me to be your partner in crime?"

   "Well maybe as you realized already I bet you already thought that maybe our teacher might've been the one that attacked you"

   Well I couldn't say no to that

   "So you did, and then you questioned me on how I knew when the building was about to fall so I bet you'll be a great asset on the cases I'm working on"

   "Before you say anything else, why do you want to become a detective because it's obvious"

   "So you guessed, well because I like the feeling when you complete something that's hard, like a puzzle"

   "More importantly, how did you know that the building was about to collapse?"

   He gave a mysterious grin and said "since I think your smart I'll leave that to you like your own solo case"

   He then left and went back to school when we thought the fight was over. I left after a few minutes of silence alone and finally went back to the dissorted school. When I came back the teachers left nearby the campus where telling that school was going off early and we should go home now. I did exactly what they said and left.

   I got into my house, fed my cat, changed into some comfy pj's and threw myself on my bed where I quickly slept while having a dream.

   It was Akise...with...with his head cut off by Yuno while Yukki was standing there eyes wide open. I was running toward Akise's dead, heartless body. I knelt over him and cried. After a while I suddenly gripped the pipe he tried to kill Yuno with. I then, with no doubts, pounced on Yuno and destroyed her future diary. After seeing Yuno disappearing into a black hole, I turned to look over at Yukki he dropped his revolver and fell to his knees. When I was I front of him and about to smash his diary into smitherins I took my future diary ripped it into shreds, Yukki looked up, shocked. And then i went into the black hole.

   I woke up, sweating from the fact that the dream seemed to real. I went to the kitchen to grab water, after I relaxed I shook the dream off my head and went back to sleep peacefully.
