A Starco Story

Chapter 2

Marco's POV
I am so excited. Today I am going to ask the girl of my dreams out! I'm pretty nervous. What if she says no? What if she's too good for me? Oh god maybe I shouldn't do- "Marco!" Star yells. Oops, I got caught up talking to myself again. "The bus is here and we have got to get going or we will be late" Star says. Me and star grab our backpacks and walk out of the house and get on the bus. I sit next to Star. As the bus is driving I notice that Star looks disappointed."Star is something wrong?" I ask. " No, everything is fine." I hate to see her like this, I need to know whats wrong." We arrive to school and me and Star both get off the bus. "I'm going to class" Star says. "Good luck with Jackie." She walks away quietly. I don't get it, Star is never this quiet. This isn't normal. Ah whatever, I'll think about this later because what is important right now is Jackie. I turn around and try to find Jackie. I see her by the lockers talking to her friends. This is it Marco, don't mess this up. I slowly walk up to her and wave. "Hey Jackie!" "Oh hey Marco, What's up?"Jackie smiles. Her friends look at us, giggle and skip away.Well you see... I came to ask you if you maybe... wanted to go out sometime?" Jackie's face went from welcoming to surprised." Oh Marco I'm sorry but... I never really thought of you like that. I always thought of you as a friend."
When she said this my heart broke.
She apologized and walked away like nothing happened. Throughout the day I felt sad. Finally at the end of the day I walked home by myself, went to my room and fell on my bed. A few minutes later I heard a knock at my door. It was Star.She came and sat down on the bed. "Hey Marco i heard what happened and I'm really sorry." She came and hugged me. Her hugs were so warm and cozy. When she let go she smiled at me. It was weird because it really comforted me. "Hey don't worry, You don't need Jackie. You have me, your parents, and the laser  puppies." She said. This time, we both smiled at each other and looked into each other's eyes. She seemed much happier then she was before. We sort of leaned in closer together, faces almost touching...until we heard a CRASH. I ran up to the window and saw some big buff monsters walk out of a portal. It was Ludo and his army. Although this time he seemed to have more backup. Me and Star both looked at each other and ran downstairs to the backyard. Star walked up confidently to Ludo and said "Come Ludo, give us your best shot. We both know your going to fail your mission to steal my wand, you're then going to go to your castle and cry about this and come up with another stupid plan to get my wand." Star looked so professional. This may sound weird but, I found her very attractive. Ludo smirked. "Oh no no no Star Butterfly, you have got it all wrong this time. For I now have a bigger and stronger army then before and they are going to crush you." Ludo said. "We will have to see about that "she says. Everyone from Ludo's army charged at us. Star starts shooting them and I use my karate skills. Next thing I know everything goes black...
