A Starco Story

Chapter 6

Marco's POV
Eventually after a couple hours school is over and me and Star head home. It's about 6:00 now and I'm in the living room watching tv, while my mom is cooking and Star is in her room doing who knows what. Star later comes skipping down the stairs. "What's for dinner? I'm starving" she says." I am making arroz con pollo, that means rice with chicken in spanish." My mom replies. "A bit of spice and some sauce and...done, Come on kids dinners ready!" Me and Star sit down and start to eat. "This is great mom" I say. "Why thank you Marco, now I am going to my room to watch my favorite drama show, House wives of New Mexico!" She says. "Ok" I reply. For the first 30 seconds there is an akward silence at the table. Star then breaks the silence. "So Marco, are you excited for prom? Because I cant stop thinking about it!" She says happily. "Well here's the thing Star, I'm not sure i am going." I say in a depressed tone. "What do you mean your not going?! Aren't you the guy who told me that everyone had to attend prom? because it was such a big and wonderful event?" I could see the look in Star's eyes that told me that she was really confused and wanted me to answer her question now. "I don't want to go because... I don't have a date. I know it sounds a bit weird but, everyone always has a date and I don't want to stick out like a sore thumb." I say. "Well there is no way I'm going to prom alone so, why cant... I be your date? But of course it's not a date I'm just going as your friend, cause that's what we are right? Friends..." Star says. "Yep, friends... And that's a great idea Star. We should probably start getting ready for bed, I mean we got a big day tomorrow." I say. "Ok Marco, goodnight"

Sorry for a short chapter guys, I haven't really had much time to write with school and stuff. I promise you guys though that the next chapter will be big and include lots of starco. Bye😉
