Sasha’s POV

“Mum! No Mum!” I screamed.

“I gave you up Sasha and Johannah!”

“NO!”

“Yes”

She laughed a cold, cruel laugh before saying.

“I hate you, you were never my child, useless pathetic, lazy-“

“Ahhh!” I awoke with a scream, drenched in a puddle of sweat.

It had been two days since Johannah and I had been living at our Auntie’s house.

“You really need to stop doing that!” Sian exclaimed.

“Doing what?” Jazmyn smirked with a raised eyebrow.

“Pfffft Jazmyn!” Sian screeched while Jazmyn laughed.

“Guys you need to be quiet its... 10:40 IN THE MORNING!” Johannah screamed.

Jazmyn walked over subtlety before yanking Johannah’s covers off of her.

“Jazmyn! What the -... Heck... Yeah... What the heck.” Johannah caught herself just as Auntie Ashleigh walked in.

She eyed us all suspiciously before announcing that breakfast was ready.

“So why don’t we have school?” I asked curiosity burning.

“Its teacher only day!” Jazmyn said as if I was the dumbest person on earth.

“Whats that?” Johannah asked.

“Well in New Zealand...”

“We’re in New Zealand!” I thought to myself.

“There is a day in each term where we don’t have to go to school, cause the teachers do their mumbo jumbo” Jazmyn finished.

“HA! Mumbo jumbo” Sian yelled.

“You’re so sick minded!” Jazmyn said playfully.

“No I’m not!”

“Yes you are!”

“Na ah!”

“Ye ha”

“You’re the one that’s sick minded Jaz!”

“I’m not but heres a song”

Sian rolled her eyes comically.

“Ahem, I-“

“Yeah we heard enough” Sian said cutting Jazmyn off.

“What school do we go to anyway?” I asked.

“Western Falls Junior High” Sian said half-heartedly.

“Are you guys in the same year?”Jo asked.

“Ya, we’re unidentical twins” Jazmyn said.

Johannah mouthed an ‘o’ with her lips, then Auntie Ashleigh told us that it was time to go and get our uniforms.

“I just love our uniforms, most people don’t cause they’re a really ugly colour, but not to me, the skirt comes down to just the right height, but some girls roll them up to show off to boys, personally some boys are just a waste of time, speaking of a waste...” And on it went; Sian was just absolutely fizzing with excitement.
