Journeying Again

If I had been stumbling around in the dark
Lost in a labyrinth, arms reaching helplessly
You had been that subtle glow
That beautiful exit I could reach to

How is it possible
That a solitary person
Can make me forget all that darkness
By simply entering my sight?

Maybe it's your smile
That ever-so stunning curve
Drawn by your lips
As if they were expert artists

Maybe it's your eyes
Sparkling in their angelic nature
That seem to shine brightly
Rivaling the rays of the sun

Or maybe it's that I know
How you'll reach for my hand
Lay your head on my shoulder
And let me hear your sweet voice

After all you were what saved me
You showed me what is right
You showed me an end to confusion
And a start to peace

Thoughts of you now swirl in my head
Like winter's first entrance
Letting loose a snowfall
Creating a spectacular scene

There's no need to look back
For whatever the reason
Because I believe that what I have with you
Can never be replaced
