Jinx's POV
I'm tapping my nightstand in various spots in hopes of hitting the alarm clock. It is too early for me to be getting up, but I have school. After several tries, I finally turn the alarm off and I snuggle back into my sheets. I really don't feel like getting up, so why not just skip today.
"Jinx... wake up. You know you have school and you are going so get up," my mom says, standing in my bedroom doorway. I mentally scream and sit up in my bed. I look at my mother and she just smiles and walks away. She's always so happy in the mornings and I'm always not; I guess I get that from my dad. I get out of bed and grab my phone while heading to the bathroom. The first thing I do is sit on the toilet and go through my phone. Normally I would have a nice little good morning text from Aiden but this time I didn't, but I did have a miss call from this unknown number. I swear if I'm being stalked or blackmailed I'm going to die. I text the number asking yet again who is this and I start getting ready for school.
By the time I'm done getting dressed my phone vibrates indicating I have some type of message. I check it and its just an email from a producer asking when am I going to get back in the studio. I just realized I haven't been working on my music lately.
"Mom set me a day in the studio please," I yell as I'm coming down the stairs. She looks at me and rolls her eyes while nodding. I knew she was going to say yes so I don't know why she tripping. I walk into the kitchen where both my parents are eating breakfast. Before I sit down I check the time on the microwave and realize I'm going to be late for class. I hurriedly grab a paper towel and pick up my bagel and orange juice and head for the door.
"Aren't you forgetting something?" my mom shouts from the doorway holding my MCM book bag and car keys.
"Oh my gosh, thanks Mom," I say with my mouth full of bagel, so unlady-like. She tosses me my keys and I pick up my book bag. I throw it in the back seat and I get in the driver's seat getting situated. I'm driving the Range Rover today. Good choice Mom. I take another bite of my bagel before cranking up and hooking my phone to the AUX. I go to my favorite song as of right now which is 'Hotline Bling'. I may not be so hood but this is some what hood to me. Turning the volume up I'm now headed to school.
As I'm pulling into the school's parking lot, I see a Matte black G- Wagon in my regular parking spot. I drive up far enough to look at the tag and I immediately know who it is. The big lip ass bitch, Kayla. She's this preppy ass hoe who's always in somebody's man's face. I hate her with a passion; this bitch thought she was going to steal Aiden away from me, but Aiden know where home at. Normally I would go ape shit and get this hoe's car towed but today I just swallow my pride and park two parking spots down. I grab my stuff and walk towards the building saying a few hello's along the way. I don't see Jordan or Ana; I guess they went with my first plan, which was skipping school today. Walking into my first block class, I see Kayla is sitting in my freaking desk. What the actual hell.
"Um excuse me, you're in my seat," I say trying to be nice.
"Well to fucking bad. Looks like you have to find another seat then," she says not even looking at me. She has really lost her damn mind if she think she's about to talk to me like that.
"Bitch move," I say while throwing her stuff onto the floor. Watching her get up to pick up her stuff, I take a seat in MY desk and pull my binder and phone out of my book bag. We have at least two to three minutes before class starts so I check my messages. Aiden text me telling me he was going to be picking me up from school today. I simply replied with an okay. As I'm scrolling through my twitter, the teacher comes and demands everyone sit down and put our phones away. I do as told and start listening to the teacher teach. Ugh this is going to be a long day.
