TRAPPED

Chapter Nine

Jinx's POV

To get my mind off that dummy Marquez I decide to go to sleep and just think about all this in the morning. I'm snuggling up in my covers when I hear a knock on the door that leads to my balcony. There are only three people that come to this door at night and they are Aiden, Ana, and Jordan. I think its Ana because I'm pretty sure she saw Marquez's snapchat story so I don't bother to get up. Then, a more persistent knock comes and doesn't stop. I throw my pillow towards the door and accidentally make my curtain rod fall on the floor and it reveals Aiden's face. I look at my phone to check missed calls and messages and notice that Aiden had be blowing up my phone the whole time I was with Marquez. I throw on my robe and quickly open the door for him to come in. Aiden quickly pecks my lips and walk straight by me heading towards my bed. I look back and forth from the balcony to my room door to Aiden. If my mom or dad found out about Aiden sneaking in here all through the night they would probably be pissed.

"Come sit down beside me," Aiden says while patting the spot on the bed beside him. "Please." He begs when I don't come to him immediately. I give in and sit down beside him after making sure my door was still closed.

"Why are you here Aiden?" I say searching his eyes for an answer. Looking deeper into his eyes only makes me think about the horrible deed I am doing to him while I'm with Marquez.

"Where were you and your friends earlier today?" Aiden asks taking off his shoes and getting comfortable.

"What are you taking about?" I ask him trying to figure out what he is talking about. Aiden raises his eyebrow at me then clears his throat.

"Well I just assumed when I came here and you were not here" Aiden said looking down at his phone. This is the first moment in my life that I am happy I can't look into his beautiful eyes. I feel so bad right now. I don't answer him for a while and just start playing with my fingers. Aiden notices that I won't look up at him or answer him so now he is suspicious to where I really was.

"It's okay Jinx you don't have to spill the beans and tell me you were planning Chloe's surprise party with Ana and Jordan." Aiden says kissing me on the head. That's no where near what I was really doing, but I will let him believe this.

"But screw Chloe, You and I need to spend more time together." He said pulling my face upward by my chin making me look into his eyes. His eyes show his love for me and I'm sure in my eyes he can sense what I was really doing. I have lied to Aiden before, but this really isn't a lie because he didn't give me a chance to respond with the truth and it was rather an assumption.

"Okay... tomorrow its all about you and I." I say breaking eye contact. Then, I look at my room door once again waiting for one of my parents to burst through the door because they heard two voices in the room.

"Okay babe I hate to do this, but you have to go. My parents will kill me if they found you in here with me when I told them that I was going to sleep. They would make a big deal out of nothing if they came in here." I said picking up his shoes and pulling him towards the balcony. He left with no back talk and said he would pick me up first thing tomorrow and dress comfortable. I can't believe I thought I could be with two people at the same time. Wtf is wrong with me? As soon as he drove off I instantly went to my lyric notebook and decided to write a new song about how I'm feeling right now. I'm meeting with this producer in two days and he wants to see my work so he can set up a video. This producer is someone I have been wanting to work with for years, but since my parents don't believe in my music they wouldn't set it up. But with all my birthday money I saved I decided to book a session with him by myself and my parents have no choice but to come. The only thing I'm worried about is what I'm supposed to wear to things like this. Am I supposed to dress professional or cute and girly? Who knows. I have a melody in my head for the song and now I just have to think of the lyrics. The title of the song is Unfaithful.
