PAST;
Soraya's POV:
-AT PARTY-
I sit down at a random round wooden table and watch as Chandler dances with a cute little girl about six or seven years old.
I laugh as he spins her around and she smiles, looking up at him with the brightest, happiest, biggest eyes I've ever seen.Chandler looks over at me for a moment and smiles.
God do I love that boys smile.
He dances around with her until the song ends and I smile, clapping as Chandler hugs the little girl and she smiles.
They pull apart and Chandler walks over to me, holding out his hand,
"C'mon Ms. Fancy Nancy it's your turn."
"But I-" I get cut off.
"No no no, come on now, Soraya," He grabs my hand and pulls me up so I'm standing in front of him.
"Chandler, I-I don't know-"
"Now, we have to move closer together," Chandler smirks slightly, placing his hands around my waist and pulling me close to his warm body.
I bite my lip, loving his touch on my waist.
I frown slightly when he takes his hand in mine and moves his other hand higher, both hands leaving my waist.I look over at the little girl Chandler was dancing with moments ago and see her glaring at me.
"Oh, Soraya, this is Cora!" Chandler chuckles, looking at the small girl.
I smile at her and she just looks at me upset.
"I'm gonna dance with her now, but don't worry you're still my best girl Cora," Chandler gives the girl a reassuring smile and she grins. The music starts to play a fast pace song and I look around at everyone dancing, knowing what they're doing.
"Chandler, I-I don't know this dance!" I look up into his eyes and he's already looking down at me.
"Don't worry, I don't either! Don't think, just go with it!" He laughs and begins to dance around with me.
I laugh and follow along with what he's doing. We dance around; everyones moving around quickly, laughing, singing, all just having a wonderful time.
Gosh, I can't even remember when I, myself felt this relieved and so care free!
I laugh more as Chandler spins me around.
I almost trip, and I breathe heavily, "Chan-Chandler stop!" I laugh, not even caring if I were to fall or not.
He just grins and spins me around some more.I squeal and Chandler takes my hand, pulling me towards the large wooden platform couples get up and dance on for everyone to see.
I try pulling back, "Chandler wait, no!" But my struggling is no use.He pulls me onto the platform and looks at me with a smirk.
Chandler then starts doing a little foot dance and everyone claps.
I shake my head, laughing.
"Oh yeah? I can do that too!" I take off my shoes and throw them off to some random person.
I then look at Chandler and smirk.
I start doing my own little foot dance, still fairly similar to what Chandler was just doing. He stops dancing and watches me, dumfounded.
I glance up at him and spin around, stopping suddenly informing him to continue his dance. We continue to go back and forth with little foot dances for a little bit before Chandler reaches out, grabbing both my hands criss-cross with his and spins us around fast.
I laugh and spin around too, holding onto his hands tight. We stop spinning and get off the platform.
We push past people over to two men who are arm wrestling and Chandler leans over them, grabbing two beers.
He hands me one and I take it.
He takes a small drink whilst I gulp half the glass down.
Chandler looks at me shocked.
"What? You think a first class girl can't drink?" I tease, pushing him playfully.I set my drink down and look at the men around the small table.
"So, you fellas think you're big tough men, don't you?" I raise an eyebrow and step back, keeping eye contact.
They all look at me confused.
I chuckle quietly, "Well let's see you do this!"
I pick up the skirt part of my dress and hold it out of my way.
"Chandler, would you mind?" I hold the skirt part of my dress in front of him for him to hold.
He takes it hesitantly, not knowing what I'm about to do.I look at the men before taking a deep breathe, closing my eyes.
I lift myself up on my toes and keep going up till I'm standing on my tippy-toes.
I peek my eye open to make sure they're all watching and I make a pained face.
I lift myself up even more until I'm finally standing on my tippy-tippy toes.
I yelp and fall over onto Chandler, "OWW!" I laugh.
Chandler catches me in his arms and I hold onto him tight, never wanting to let go.
We both laugh and I look up, "I haven't done that in years!"I look over at the stair case in the middle of the floor and gasp, recognizing one of the men who works for Braydon standing on one of the steps.
I stand up on my own two feet and watch as he scans the crowd, his eyes landing right on me in Chandler's arms.
He gives me a look of disappointment and turns around, walking back up the wooden stairs.
I bite my lip and get out of Chandler's grip. The men start playing another up-beat song and everyone in the room links arms, all creating a long chain made of people.
They all start running/dancing around the room.
I smile and link arms with one of the woman on the end of the chain and grab Chandler's hand, pulling him along.
"Woah!" Chandler laughs and squeezes my hand.I smile, looking over at him and think to myself,
Please, please don't let go.
