I realized his love was a lie,
I saw through his empty promises,
I saw through his playful stares,
I saw the game for what it really was,
A skillfully crafted game at my expense,
The rules were simple,
Screw my feeling over for as long as possible,
All the while I was so innocent to it,
Falling victim,
Playing the toy,
A toy that could be discarded anytime,
I was the toy,
He was the boy,
Never growing up,
Always interested in games,
Never responsibility,
I became broken,
Shattered beyond repair,
Because when I thought he was different,
He was exactly like the rest....
