"Let's go Ross! My mama wants me for something." I say grabbing  his hand and pull his up. We make our way upstairs.

"Are you sure?" He says. He's always nervous around my parents.

"Yeah, now let's go baegchi!"

I laugh cuz he likes when I call him stuff in Korean, even if it means idiot. He doesn't know many words in Korean though.

"Hey sweetie. " Eomma says as we reach my parents room. Her sweet smile faded as she looked at Ross with no emotion. "Ross.....Why are you here? I called for my baby, not for you." She as if his name as poison on her tongue.

'Mama, that's mean. Don't be mean to Ross." I mind link her.

"Um J-Jin said to f-follow him... Ma'am."

'Why is mommy mean to Ross?' I ask myself.

"Well that doesn't matter now," mama says " Jin baby, come here."

Me and Ross follow her.

"Here."

Mama bends down to my height and puts something around my neck. She then gently pushes me in front of the mirror.

Around my neck is a beautiful purple heart necklace

"Wow mom. It's so pretty!"

"It was mine before, y'know." A all to familiar voice says.

"Appa!"

Daddy's here!

I see dad coming in. But while coming next to me from the doorway, he bumps into Ross but doesn't say anything as Ross falls to the floor.

'Why doesn't mom or dad like Ross?'

I still don't say anything.

"Hehe, that was mine but now it's yours. It has been passed down for the family since ever our pack Purple Moon been form. Every Alpha has held it. It said that that gem was found near the lake. That the gem is one was the lake."

"Wow, that was so long ago!"

I look closer into the mirror, at the necklace. It looks so familiar.

"Anyway, me and mommy have to go for a Alpha and Luna meeting and see all the other Alpha and Lunas from the other packs. We'll be back in three days, okay."

Mommy and Daddy hug me and kiss my head.
