Early Morning Scribbles

1. my heart is a road map, no longer used after the GPS was invented.

2. he was the escape from the pollution in my lungs after living in the wild city for so long.

3. like a moth attracted to light, he was the sun to my pale skin.

4. she was the girl who used ink, not dope for her pain relievers.

5. my mother told me that being a positive person gives you happiness. i was sad but he still gave me happiness.

6. when i cut my hair, it feels like a part of me is gone but it'll come back. i wish love worked like that.

7. her smile gives me cold feet, but it's early autumn.

8. my dog scratches at the empty spot in my bed, like she knows someone belongs there.

9. there is sadness in my veins but my immune system is fighting. it's losing.

10. pain, i told my best friend, is pain. people will come and go. people have feelings and so do you and so do i. maybe they're not part of your future. it'll be okay in the end. 

11. like a hurricane, you lifted some of me up but drowned the rest of me.

12. she's the ghost that lurks in my head ever since i lost her and there's no priest to banish her.
