LUCY POV
It was like any other day when I arrived at the guild. Everyone was being their crazy self; Erza eating her strawberry cake, Gray running around naked with Juvia following closely behind with hearts in her eyes. Levy was reading a story to Gajeel, and Natsu picking fights with everyone...Oh Natsu.
"Oi, Lucy! You're finally here!" Natsu yelled from across the guild.
"Aye Sir!!" Happy chimed in. I smiled and looked at the clock on the wall.
"Guess I did get here a little later that I usually do, huh?" I scratched the back of my head. Whoops.
"Well, it doesn't matter anymore now that you're here."Natsu laughed. "I found a great job request that I wanna go on with you." He took a piece of paper from Happy's backpack, and handed to me. I took it from him, and started reading through its messy print. I read aloud:
"Please come help: there has been a been a mysterious man lurking throughout our city, taking anyone who is vulnerable. Help save our city of this disgusting sin of a man; so we can be a peaceful place once again." I look a deep breath. "Well...are we going to take the job?"
"Hell ya we are!" Natsu jumped with his fist in the air.
"Aye Sir!!!!" Happy sang, mimicking Natsu's movements.
"Well, I'll go tell Mira Jane that we're taking this request." I said turning to the direction of where Mira Jane was serving our fellow rambunctious guild members.
"Oi, Luce, I'm surprised at you!" Natsu called after me. I turned around and cocked an eyebrow.
"What does that mean?" I crossed my arms.
"You never checked what the reward was!" Natsu made a face, and twirled his index finger in my direction. My eyes widened. I totally forgot about the reward! I ripped open the sheet of paper and looked for the reward amount. I furrowed my eye brows as I searched furiously through the scribbled letters for the reward amount.
"Where does it say the amount?" I asked, rereading the request. Natsu's smile faded.
"It doesn't have one?" He asked, taking the paper from me, looking at it for himself. "Well, I guess were gonna need to take the job and find out why there's no reward, huh?" He said, putting his hands behind his head, and marching off to Mira Jane.
"Oi, Mira! Lucy and I are going on a request!" Mira Jane looked up to see Natsu smiling, and holding the request form to her.
"Found a job already, Natsu?" She smiled brightly at him. Natsu nodded.
"Yup, Lucy, and I are going together."
"Oh, Happy isn't going with you guys? That's new." She said as she checked off the request from her list.
"He probably woulndn't want to go because there's no reward. His excuse would be something like; 'If there isn't any money, how will I get any fish!?'" Natsu laughed as he looked around the room for Happy. He was next to Carla, trying to convince her to eat his fish.
"Well have fun." Mira Jane handed back the request, and continued with her chores.
NATSU POV
As I walked back to Lucy, I began to think about this job request; it was out of the country, from what I remember. It's a place a few days away by train. I can't even imagine what it be like by foot. Guess were taking the train. Damn.
"Yo, Natsu! What is the place were going to called again?" Lucy walked up to me. I looked at the piece of paper.
"Uh, Riserd." I showed her the print and pointed to the spot where it says the location.
