I slept all day Sunday and now it's Monday morning and guess what that means, school. It's six-thirty in the morning and I am not ready to get up. I may have had 24 hours of sleep, but I still don't want to get up and go to school. I've never been to school in England before. Why can't I just drop out? I only have four months left until school is over. I'm a senior and I just want to graduate. I don't know how school here works, but here goes nothing.
"I'm driving you to school!" Carter shouts to me.
"Fuck off!" I shout into my pillow.
I get my ass out of bed and into the shower. What if no one likes me? Does anyone here watch me and Nathan's videos? Will people judge me? People will probably think I'm weird.
I get out of the shower and walk back to my room to put my make up on. I wear a pair of black high rise pants and tucked in a white tank top. I put a cream coloured cardigan on and grab my backpack. I put my wet hair up into a messy bun and walked out of my room.
I walk into the kitchen to find Carter sitting at the counter drinking some tea. I walk over to him, take his tea and start walking towards the door.
"You coming?" I say as I open the door. I hear Carter sigh and follow me out to the Mercedes.
"Mol, I'm driving." He says as I start to climb into the driver's seat; I forgot, this is England, not America. Here, we drive on the left side of the street. What fun.
"Ring me after class, I'll come pick you up." Carter says as I get out of the car.
I look at my schedule to see that my first class is health. I walk to the health class, find a spot in the back and take a seat. The class is quite full, twenty people it looks like. Half way through class, I feel my phone vibrate in my back pocket; I take it out to see that it's a text from Ayden. Great.
Are you free during lunch?
Why is he asking me to lunch? I thought I made it perfectly clear that I don't want to be near him. He's so complicated.
Only if you won't be an ass.
I hit send and focus my attention back on the teacher. I copy down the notes that I need and my phone vibrates again.
I don't know what you're talking about. I'll pick you up outside class at noon.
I roll my eyes at the text and the bell finally rings for next period. On my way to my next class, a boy with short black hair, tons of tattoos and a lip piercing stops me in the hall.
"Hi there, I'm Zach." The boy says to me as he holds out his hand.
"Hi there, I'm Molly." I mock him, shaking his hand and he smiles at me.
"You're new here, welcome. How do you like it so far?" he asks me as we walk to class.
"It's alright. It's big." I point out.
"What school did you come from?" he asks.
"I came from America." I simply reply.
"Wow, really? That's cool. I've always wanted to go to America. How is it there? Is it nice? I heard the girls are super hot." He smiles at me.
"Well, I liked it there. My mum made me come back to Holmes Chapel because I kept getting in trouble there. She said that getting to go to school in America is a privilege." I mock my mum.
"I like you. You're cool. We should hang out sometime." He says as he has to go to his class and I have to go to mine.
"Alright, sounds cool." I say and walk into my next class.
