Molly and I both signed the papers to this whole public relationship stunt. I hate it as much as she does, but in a way I'm hoping it'll bring us back together.
I really don't deserve her, especially after what I did. I still can't believe that I did that. I dropped Molly back off at school once we were done, now it's seven o'clock and I'm at home, alone.
It takes every nerve in my body not to text her. I've drunken half of this bottle of alcohol and my mind is completely jumbled. I don't know what to do anymore.
I have her, but I don't have her. I know she hates me, she makes it pretty obvious. I just wish there was at least something I could do.
By the time I've finished the whole bottle, I hear my phone vibrate on the coffee table. Hoping for a text from Molly, I'm let down when it was just a text from Paul.
Please take Molly somewhere tomorrow night. Dinner, a movie, a party, anywhere really.
Tomorrow is Friday. Where am I supposed to take her? Dinner and a movie is too cliche and corny, but a party...
-Molly's POV-
I can't believe I actually gave in and signed those papers. I'm in a very public relationship with the guy I hate; the guy who hit me.
I can't even tell anyone, well except for the one person who already knows, Zach. He's really the only one I can talk to for this kind of thing. I can't even tell Katie, Nathan or even Carter. It all has to remain a secret.
Friday at school went a little better than yesterday. No surprise appearances from my so called "boyfriend". Zach and I made plans to go to his place tonight. It's six and Zach will be here in an hour.
As soon as I finish curling my hair, I hear a knock at the door. I'm confused because Zach said he'd be here at seven, not six. I open the door to find Ayden.
"What are you doing here?" I ask in a hushed tone.
"Why are you whispering?" he asks back.
"I don't know. Why are you here?" I ask again, in a normal voice.
"I have to take you out, come on." Ayden says as he turns and walks towards his car.
"I can't, I made plans with Zach." I tell him, not moving from my doorstep.
"Cancel them." he turns back around. He just expects me to cancel whatever other plans I have just so he can take me out? Who does he think he is?
"I'm not going to cancel on him, we already made plans." I strictly tell him.
"Look, I'm only in town for a few more days, then I have to go back on tour-"
"Good." I interrupt him.
"You're dating me, not him. Now come on." Ayden continues walking to his car. I roll my eyes, shut the door behind me and follow him to his car.
On the way to wherever we're going, I pull out my phone and text Zach that I can't make it tonight; that Ayden had to take me out. I try to sound as sympathetic as possible, but it's hard over text.
"Where are we going?" I ask Ayden as I hit send on the text message to Zach.
"A party." he simply replies.
"A party?" I repeat him. I'm dressed in a nice, deep blue, sleeveless dress, and my hair is curled. I'm dressed to go out to dinner, not to a party. "What type of party?" I hesitate to ask.
"A college party." My stomach turns at those words. A college party? I've never even been to a college party.
"Why?" I ask him.
