Chapter 1: A New World

Pokemon Center

"Your Eevee is fine, give him enough rest and he will be as good as born yesterday." Nurse Joy said cheerfully as she gave the pokeball to a trainer.

"Thanks Nurse Joy!"the trainer said as he picked the pokeball and left the Pokemon Center."Your welcome!"she replied.

Theresa Joy was, well, a Nurse Joy. It had been a mystery how every female Joy and Jenny - male rarely ever born - looked almost identical to each other. People could easily mistake them for being the same person if they didn't pay enough attention, though some did. But that didn't bother her at all. She was a happy, cheery, twenty-seven-year old Joy. And she was going to drink a coffee.

Looking around the now empty pokemon center, she went to a vending machine outside. "What a nice day…" a tired but relieved sigh escaped her mouth as she sipped her mocha-flavoured drink on her favourite sit inside the center; near the television. For three days straight, she had been busied by pokemon trainers and owners, coming to heal and see what was wrong with them. Not that it was bad to have them coming in, not at all. In fact, if they didn't come, she would have nothing to do. Theresa just wanted some rest, to clear out her mind and relax. So, it was her luck to have the center to herself. "There's no trainers, no visitors, and no-" out of nowhere a glow appeared. The brightness of it prompted her to shield her eyes. The light slowly vanished.

"-kid."

She opened her eyes to find a boy roughly six, lying unconscious in front of her. She was shocked. Not only of the boy's sudden appearance but also, and mostly, the condition he was in. He was soaked in blood.

"Chansey, get him to Emergency Room, Fast!"

Chansey did as she was ordered. After they were in the emergency room, the pink-haired woman opened the boy's shirt. What she saw shocked her even more. The boy's body was full of bruises, most of them made by weapons. She couldn't hold her tear.

The two began to heal the boy.

Naruto's mindscape

Drip drip... drip drip.... Sounds of drops of water could be heard echoing all over the place.

"Ugh, where am I?" Naruto groaned. He sat up and looked around. In front of him stood a huge gate. The gate, instead of a key lock, had some kind of paper on it that read, "Seal".

"It seems that you have come to visit me Naruto." A pair of red eyes showed itself from behind the bars.

"W-who are you?" he stuttered and silence was all he heard. He thought back. Just now the villagers had chased and beat him until he could barely stand. There was the guy with his shovel, another with a broken bat, and some he couldn't remember. All of them hit him hard. Then the thought hit him. Am I dead? he thought.

"Nope, you're still alive." replied a voice, probably belonged to whomever that owned the eyes.

"Wait, you know what I'm thinking?"

"Of course I know what you're thinking, this is your mind after all." It sounded as if it was tired of explaining, even though it never did such thing.

Naruto waited.

After some moment, the eyes closed. What came to replace them was a creature as tall as the Hokage Mountain. This creature had a the same eyes he had seen before, clawed hands, and bunny ears. The thing that quickly he noticed was its nine tails which was swishing back and forth.

"I am what human would call a bijuu. You know me as Kyuubi no Kitsune." Kyuubi answered.

"Kyuubi! Didn't the Fourth Hokage killed you?!" He was sure that was what Jiji had told him, unless he forgot because of old age.

"Heh, a human killed me? What a joke. He didn't kill me he merely just sealed inside of you."

"Inside of me, what do you mean?"

"I won't answer that question, for now just wake up." the boy's body began to dissipate.

Outside

"Oh, you are awake." Theresa stated. The sight of the unknown woman scared him.

"Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you." she assured soothingly. He became a little convinced. She seems like a nice woman, so she wouldn't hurt him, right?

He eyed around again."Where am I?"

"You're at the pokemon center in Viridian City. And I'm Nurse Joy by the way." she answered with a smile. But it soon changed into a frown in a second. "What happened to you? You have a lot of blood and bruises on your body when I checked on you. Did a wild pokemon attack you?"she asked.

"I... don't want to talk about that." he mumbled, his face full of sadness.

She seemed to understand. "Okay then. Make sure you have enough rest. I leave the food here so you can eat later." He watched her leave the room

"Where am I exactly?" he asked himself
