Chapter One

Almost six months ago

Getting tangled up in the skirt of her dress, Arielle tumbled back landing on her backside hard on the tile floor.  The new throb of pain beat in sync with the one along the side of her face. I can't see.  Oh my god, I'm blind! He made me blind!  The thoughts entered involuntary and showed the how much damage the blow to her head had done.  She would have frowned if she had control of her muscles to her face.

You have your eyes closed.  The rational part of her brain spoke to her.  If you just open your eyes dummy then you can see.  As easy as that thought was she couldn't remember how to open them.  Something like, lift one lid...open.  No, no that didn't work. She shook her head.  How do I operate my eyes?

"Oh god." An embarrassing chuckle came from her mouth.

She was going to be blind for the rest of her life until she learned how to operate the muscles in her eyes.  The chuckle soon turned into whimpering.  Blind? She couldn't be blind yet not when she was still chaste.  An almost 200 year old goddess of air who was still pure.  This was horrible.  This was beyond horrible, it was mortifying.  She was going to die and the only real male anatomy she seen was on a site.  And that was only by accident; misspell one letter in exotic and you'll be in for a real shocker.

"Is she okay? I can't believe he hit her." Sounded from one of the many women in here with her.

"Get them out of here!" The man responsible for her pain screamed, his booming voice pained her head even more than it was.

She heard the women in the background gasp and then they're heels clicking on the floor.  Don't leave.  She wanted to say but knew they didn't have a choice.  More heels clicked on the floor then there was silence.  Arielle felt eyes on her and fidgeted under their perusal, wringing her hands together.  One pair of eyes lingered down to her body.  She felt exposed and used her hands to cover her breast that looked like they would burst out of the tight dress.

"Dude I think you hit her too hard." Someone said.  He had a deep voice, angry, harsh, cold and uncaring.

There were hard patters of feet and she then felt body heat envelop her.  Someone's icy cold hands lifted her face.  The action stung, she hissed in a breath and pulled away.  The same pair of eyes lingered lower down her body.  She swallowed back vomit at his next words.

"Well since she's too injured to take a shower herself we should help her undress."

Open your eyes.  Arielle couldn't think clearly, couldn't connect her thoughts to her muscles.  Her brain was dizzy from nearly being snapped off during the hard slap he delivered.  Her breathing hitched and tears filled her eyes.  Say something, don't let him do this.  She projected to the other man in the room.  The other man who hadn't said a word since his partner, currently crouched in front of her, decided to "help her undress" stayed quiet.
