Shreya's POV
"Ate I'm nervous." Sabi ko sabay act as if gininaw.
"Don't be. Just chin up ang smile." Advice niya at biglang nagring ang phone niya. "Wait a sec. I'll just answer this call. I'll be quick." Paalam niya at lumayo ng konti. Siguro confidential.
Inofferan ako ng waiter ng water at ininum ko naman without any hesitations, eh sa nininerbyos ako eh. Like hello, it's been long since I've been engaged into like this situation. At never did I once blamed my lovely Angel for it.
Lumilingon-lingon muna ako at I just caught a glimpse of my Horrible PAST!
"No." I said in between my breaths. Hindi pwede. Nagmamalikmata lang siguro ako dahil sa naalala ko yung panahon na wala pa si Angel sa buhay ko. Hindi. Hindi pwedeng nandito siya. Wala na siya eh. Patay na siya. Patay na siya sa buhay ko. At ang patay na hinding hindi na mabubuhay pa.
I just shook my head away from that picture and started to peel the rose in front of me bit by bit when Ate came back.
"Oi! Kawawa yung bulaklak!" sabi niya at tinapik ang kamay ko. Parang bata lang ako ah.
"Ate that hurts!"'reklamo ko na parang bata lang din.
"You deserved it. Don't be such a baby. Chin up and be beautiful, any time now a man will sit here in front of you. Ok?
But I'm really sorry to say this but I have to go." Paliwanag niya. Bakas sa mukha niya na nagmamadali siya.
"Business." Sabi ko nalang at ngumiti.
"Yeah. Sorry."
"Don't be. It's alright. I won't be a baby. Don't worry." Sabi ko. Rest assured naman siya.
At umalis na siya.

"Hi Miss?" I just saw a cute glowing guy in front of me...
"Shreya." I answered with a handshake. Malamig kaya ang kamay ko? Sweaty? O baka naman nanginginig? Naku~
At umupo muna kami.
"I'm Jiki, Jiki Jake Bough. I heard you're the sister my sister's boss, It's nice to finally meet you. You look lovelier in person." Introduction niya.
"I'm flattered, thanks." I'm referring to his compliment about me being lovelier.
"So, Uhm, what do you like to do when you're bored?" tanong niya with the matching glowing smile.
"Seriously? You want to know that?" eh kasi, pag bored ako nakikipaglaro (or should I say NANGUNGULIT) sa baby Angel ko.
"Not if you don't like to." Ehhhh humble naman niya.
"Right. I don't like to talk about it." I'm just being honest.
May dumating na waiter at nag order na kami.
"What do you want?" tanong niya.
"Just a cup of tea would do." Sagot ko at sinabi naman niya yun sa waiter. At nag order narin siya ng sa kanya.
