ABBY'S POV

~~~~~~~~~~TIME JUMP TO WINTER HOLIDAYS!!!!!!~~~~~~~~~~

Hogwarts has definitely become more crazier and scarier. It just feels more unsafe day by day. My training with Snape has become much harder. It has been much harder to keep this secret from Brooke, and the lack of sleep has definitely been getting to me. Also, we still have to share the Quidditch Pitch with the Slytherins. I'm just laying in bed, thinking about how life is so difficult. "Abby. Are you up?" Brooke whispers. I sit up in my bed. "What's up?" I ask, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. "I'm worried." Brooke says. "About what?" I ask her. "What if they don't find the Horcruxes." Brooke says nervously. "We need to trust them, they have the same amount of hate for him as we have." I say, smiling at her reassuringly. "Yeah. I'm just going crazy." She chuckles. I smile. I look at the time, "SHIT!" I scream. "What?" She asks. "It's 8 o' clock!" I say and jump out of my bed. "Shit." She mutters under her breath, and she gets out of her bed. I grab my glasses from the bedside table. I can't be bothered to wear my contacts today. We both go the bathroom and brush our teeth. I wash my face and shit and leave Brooke to do whatever she does in the bathroom. I open my cupboard and pull out jeans and a white knitted jumper. I put them on and put on my boots. it's a Sunday, but the reason we're rushing is because breakfast finishes at 8:15; we get to go to Hogsmeade today; normally, we would go to the kitchen and take some food, but the carriages for Hogsmeade leave at 8:20. So we'd miss the carriages. I put on a furry winter coat, I leave my hair out and put a beanie on top. Them bad hair days, and you just HAVE to put a beanie on. #girlproblems

I finally managed to get Brooke out of the bathroom and we're running to the Great Hall. "It's currently 8:14. We have one minute to get to breakfast. We finally get there and I see the food disappearing. I grab a piece of toast and a croissant. I give Brooke the piece of toast and I take the croissant and we both shove it down our throats. After we've finished eating we walk over to Katie and Rebecca. We've all become very close over the past couple of months. Rebecca's like Brooke and I put together, so we get along very well. We leave the Hall and go to the carriages. We're all gossiping about anything and everything. We meet Finn and Callum. We all sit in the carriage together. We have all become really good friends over the past months. The carriage starts moving and we all start talking. There are loads of different topics going around, and we all try to partake in all of the conversations. It was a bit hard at first, but now we've gotten used to it.

We finally get to Hogsmeade. "Okay, that felt like an hour and a half!" Rebecca says and we all chuckle. "I wanna go to the Quidditch Store." I say. "Yeah. Me too." Finn says. "So we'll all meet an Honeydukes in an hour, yeah?" Brooke says, eyeing Fred and George's joke shop. "Mm hmm." I say and I wink at her. She blushes and Finn and I walk off. Hogsmeade has definitely changed. The death eaters patrol the place, but we've got Abeforth to keep us safe. Thank God. As we're walking to the Quidditch store, I see a flash of red. 'You're  just hallucinating Abby.' I think. We get to the Quidditch Store. It's in ruins, but it's still got good stuff in it. It's barricaded. But like always we pull off the wood and crawl inside through the little hole that we created by smashing the glass windows. We walk around for a bit and I grab some new Quidditch gear and Finn grabs a new broom. "Done?" Finn asks me. "Yeah." I turn to go outside and I see that flash of red again. "What the..." I start. "Everything alright Abs?" Finn asks me. "Yeah. I um I just wanna check something out, you go ahead, I'll meet you at Honeydukes." I say to him. "Are you sure? I can come with you if you want." Finn suggest. Aw what a sweetheart. "No, thanks. It's freezing outside, you go to Honeydukes. Get me loads of sweets yeah?" I say, smiling. He chuckles and goes out of the store. I go out of the store too. I saw the flash of red going through an alley way, so I went down that alley way. Left or right.... I turn right to see a dead end. I go back around and then left. I keep walking straight until I see something moving behind a box. "Hello?" I say, hiding behind a crate. "Abby?" Someone says. The voice is so familiar. I stand up to see RON! "RON!" I run to him and jump into his arms. "Oh my god you're okay!" I say. I pull back. "Yeah I'm fine. I'm glad you showed up." He says. "Of course I did, it's up to me to check out red heads eh?" I chuckle. "How the hell did you get in, death eater patrol this place." I ask. "I knocked out a death eater on my way here, grabbed some of his hair, stole some polyjuice potion from Diagon Alley, and... Yeah. They still haven't caught me yet thought." He says, looking smug. "Where's Harry and Hermione? Are they okay?" I ask, getting worried. "Yeah I'm sure they're fine." He says, looking a bit upset and angry. "Ron, what happened?" I ask, touching his arm. He explains to me about the Horcruxes and how they were keeping guard of the necklace, how they were taking turns. The one night Ron was wearing it, he got angry, went inside the tent and saw Harry and Hermione dancing together, Ron got pissed, chucked the necklace off and went. "Ok I understand why you would be pissed and leave, but they need you Ron. Don't you understand, Hermione loves you so much. And you love her. But you're both such idiots that you never realised. Ron you need to go back. You need to make sure they're okay. And you need to find the Horcruxes, destroy them and then come home so mum can give you a nice big WEASLEY meal yeah?" I tell him. He smiles, looking nostalgic and pulls me into a hug. "I love you Abby." He says. "I love you too Ron." I say, and hold onto him for a bit longer, my tears threatening to spill. He pulls away. "Alright. I'll see ya later yeah." His voice rough, as if he's going to cry. "Yeah. Later." I say, smiling. Both of us trying so hard not to say goodbye. I walk away, as soon as I'm out of the alley way, my tears spill. I check the time. It's 9:50. I'm meant to be at Honeydukes in 5 minutes.

I never realise how much I appreciate my brothers. I love them so much. In the war that we all know is going to happen, protecting my family is going to be my first priority. I love them so much, no one is ever going to mean as much to me as my family do. I carry on walking, thinking about the war. I can't bare to lose anyone close to me. I get to Honeydukes. I stand outside, wiping my tears away, I pull my wand out and fix my face up, so it it looks like I haven't been crying. I walk inside the shop. I see all my friends and instantly a smile comes onto my face. "Did you see Fred then?" I ask B, whispering in her ear. She blushes and nods. "Did you do what you had to?" Finn asks me. "Yeah. Thanks. Did you get my sweets?" I ask him, smirking lightly. "Yup." He says popping the 'p'. He hands me a ton full of sweets that I love. "Get in!" I smile. We go to the counter and pay.

We get back to Hogwarts at around 4 pm. We had spent ages just hanging out with each other, having snowball fights with each other. Now we were back, and there was a letter sitting on my table. I take off my coat and my boots and pick up the letter. Brooke's in the common room hanging out with the others. I open the letter.

'Abby, an early training session today, from 4:15 to 10:00. You can skip classes tomorrow. Snape'

"FOR GOD'S SAKE!" I shout and chuck the letter onto the other side of the room. I'm so pissed because I was expecting this to be a day off. Damn it!! I check the time and see that it's 4:10. Crap. I out my boots back on and go to the Common room. I'm about to leave. "Where are you going?" Brooke asks me. "I just need to Erm clear my head. I'll be back before 11:00." I tell them, smile and leave. I run to Snape's office and knock on his door, out of breath. The door opens and I walk in, and take a seat. "Abby." I turn around and see Snape. "Sir." I say. He comes and takes the seat in front of me. "How was Hogsmeade?" He asks. "Fine." I say.

"We are working on Occulumency and Legilimency. Do you know what they are?" Snape asks me. "Yeah. Occulumency is when you block out people from your mind, and Legilimency is the opposite. You try to penetrate peoples' thoughts." I tell him. He nods. "Yes. Now I'm going to be teaching you Occulumency. I'm going to try and get into your thoughts and you have to block me out." Snape says. Shit. I think.

"LEGILIMENS!" I can feel him going through my brain, shifting through all my memories. I try so hard to block him out. He gets to the memory where I'm talking to Ron. Oh god. I try so hard to stop him, but his power is just too strong. He's watching the memory intently. He's gonna find out. Oh shit! And as if by magic, I penetrate him and I build up walls around my memories. I can feel my head getting lighter. And we both fall back. "What the hell was that!?" She shouts at me. "You had NO right going through my memories like that!" I scream at him. "When was that?" He asks, his voice getting lower, referring to the memory of Ron and I talking today at Hogsmeade. "Ages ago." I lie. "DON'T LIE TO ME!" He shouts at me. "I'm not lying." I say, tears falling down my cheeks. "Abby, when was that? When did it happen." He asks me. "I can't remember it was ages ago. What did you hear?" I ask, putting my head down. "I just heard the part where you ask him if he's okay." Snape says. "Sir, I'm not lying, it was ages ago." I tell him, trying to look convincing. He nods. "You've had enough for today, go back." Snape says. I look at the time and see its only 7:00. I leave his office and go to the common room. Everyone's probably gone to dinner. I go to my room, to see Brooke holding a letter. "Brooke.." I start. "What the hell is this!?" Brooke shouts. "I.." "Abby, what is this? And I swear to god if you lie to me I'm gonna kill you." Brooke says. I sit down on my bed. "I've been having sessions with Snape, so that I can become an Auror, I really wanted to tell you, but they told me not to." I tell her. "Oh my god. Abby, that's amazing!" She says, and jumps up and hugs me. I laugh, relieved that she took it so well.

-Another chapter! It's long and I updated on the right day. I deserve a pat on the back! I don't really have much to say today.
