Ever since Liam Clark got his parents back, life hasn't been all that easy for the infamous Boy Who Lived. Before he even set foot in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he was quite content with being just an ordinary kid. Sure, he didn't have any friends or family, but that was a whole lot simpler than dealing with the strange fact that everyone in the magical world seemed to fear him for no reason at all. He's so worried about this ill-fated reputation that he can't even begin to figure out how to start a relationship with his own mum and dad. As he prepares to enter his second year at Hogwarts, Liam thought the best thing to do was to keep his head down, stay out of trouble, and try to show everyone that he could be just as normal as the next wizard ...
But a strange recurring dream of a red-haired girl in peril seems to have something to do with a sudden string of disappearing students, and a nefarious voice in the castle walls sends him off on a misadventure with a strange cabinet and an entirely different universe that doesn't seem to know who he is at all ... except, perhaps, the enigmatic Professor Albus Dumbledore. Stranded in this uncharted new world with no idea how he got there, Liam must find a way back home to his parents without getting himself too caught up in the mystery of the red-haired girl, a plot at Hogwarts that's turning people into stone, and another Boy Who Lived who's right in the middle of it all.
