KELLY'S P.O.V

We still had 3 more hours on the road to Sacramento. I woke up around 10 and left my room. I searched through the cabinets looking for something to eat. I saw pancake mix so I decided, since I had time to kill, I made pancakes. The smell must have woke Justin up because he came out of his room with bed head, no shirt and squinted eyes.

"Pancakes?" He asked with a hoarse morning voice.

"mhm." I said simply.

"Make me some?" He asked.

"Sure." I said as he walked by me and took a seat on the couch.

"Hailey is convinced you hate her." He said.

"I don't love her." I said.

"Why not?" He asked.

"No particular reason." I shrugged.

"My mom doesn't like her either.." He said and I laughed.

"As long as you're happy.." I said.

"Yeah, I guess." He said quietly.

"You are happy, aren't you?" I asked looking up from the pancakes and at Justin.

"Hailey is great but.." He started.

"But?"

"But it isn't helping.. it isn't helping the pain I still feel about our relationship." He said and my heart skipped a beat.

"It takes time." I said looking away.

"She doesn't make me feel the way I feel when I'm with you.." He said slowly, picking and choosing the correct words to say. I started to blush and I didn't know what to say.

"But its not even just that," He continued. "She is really annoying and overprotective sometimes. We have already had multiple arguments and its been a month."

I laughed as he went on, "She's so awkward too, when I introduced her to my family she stood there quietly and smiled."

"Justin you shouldn't be talking shit about your girlfriend." I said laughing and putting the finished pancakes onto the plates.

"I know. I'm horrible, aren't I.." He said.

"Yeah you suck sometimes." I said handing him a plate and then joining him on the couch.

"Hey!" He said offended.

"Just being honest." I said turning on the TV.

When I finished eating, I went back into my room and got dressed into black leggings and heels with a  white top and dark purple flannel over the white t shirt. I left the flannel unbuttoned and then grabbed a green light jacket that for some reason looked good with the outfit. I rolled the purple flannel up to the outside of the green jacked so that it showed more color and pushed the jacket further up my arm. I slipped a gold necklace around my neck that came down to the center of my chest and then I straightened my hair. My new hair and make up lady, Casandra came in and did my make up for the interview I had in 45 minutes.

When I was done getting ready for the day, we had arrived at the building where we were being interviewed on live television. Justin got dressed into his infamous oversized sweatshirt and sagging pants and then sneakers and black hat. Justin and I waited in this luxurious room that had jolly ranchers that kept Justin and I occupied. When we got called up, we went out onto the "stage" and sat down on the chairs they had for us. A woman named Jamie was interviewing us and she welcomed us and then asked how we were.

"So do you have a show tonight?" She asked the both of us.

"Yup!" Justin said and I just nodded my head.
