My alarm blares out marimba loudly, causing me to groan and roll over, covering my head with a pillow. I managed to last another 2 minutes before getting pissed off with the everlasting sound, and turning it off, sighing in relief at the silence that came about afterwards.
I got everything ready for school and was about to leave the room when I stopped and turned around, looking down at where me and Harry had nearly kissed last night. I felt my cheeks flush and I shook my head, wanting to forget about it and get the day over and done with.
I ran downstairs and grabbed a banana before running out of the house and off to school, munching on it as I speed-walked. I got to school just before the bell and went to form room.
I walked through the door to see all of my friends staring at me.
"What?! Do I have something on my face or something?" I snapped, not intending to do so. "No, we just wanted to ask you something." Sydney smiled, but that didn't last long as somebody elbowed her in the rib making her frown. "Like what?" I asked. "Nothing don't worry. I think we can wait for a bit. Forget I ever mentioned anything." She grinned. I nodded my head slowly. "Um, okay then. Anyway, i'll catch you lot later, k?" I said, walking away from the table. "Sure."
I sat down in my seat as Mr Wilson began the chemistry lesson. I noticed that Harry was avoiding my eye, so I tapped his shoulder and he froze. "Hey, you good?" I asked awkwardly. He turned to face away from me, only muttering a 'yes thanks' before jotting down some notes from the board.
The lesson went on and after doing a paired discussion with Harry on why Hydrochloric Acid had the words hydro and chloric in them, I noticed something was definitely off about him today.
"Harry what's wrong? You won't talk to me like you usually do." Once again, he froze in his spot. "N-nothing is wrong. W-why do you always think something is?" he stuttered. "Because you're stuttering and you seem off. Is something bothering you?" I asked, earning a shake of the head from Harry, "No I just have a headache that's all." He tried to tell me. I could tell he was lying but let it go for the sake of not having an argument.
"Okay."
For the rest of the day I didn't see Harry once, not even in the library where he usually is, which puzzled me.
The bell eventually rang to signify the end of the day. I scrambled out of my seat and out of the door in hope of catching Harry to ask him about our next study session.
I eventually found him walking through the school car park towards his car, a jet black Range Rover sport. Lucky bastard. "Harry!" I shouted as I approached him. He spun around and smiled sheepishly as he saw it was me. "Hi." He replied.
"I'm so glad I caught you before you left. What days can I come over yours next week? You know, for our studying?" I asked him. He stopped walking once we got to the boot of his car. "Uh, h-how about Monday at 4?" Harry stuttered. "Perfect. See you then!" I smiled and walked away.
The whole of my way home I couldn't stop thinking about last night and the way he acted today. Weird as hell.
A/N: sorry it probably doesn't make sense or is super short, it's just a filler so you should wait until the next chapter ;)
I'm like super tired rn and so I'm sorry about my shitty writing and inability to make sense.
