Unraveling Feels

~Your P.O.V~

The day was finally here, and you were not ready for it. It had been a month since you were let out of the emergency room. Day after day your friends would come over and comfort you to the best of there ability. You didn't complain in the least, in fact you actually waited for the hour that on of your companions would gracefully knock upon your door.

However, today was the day that is was time to put the visits aside and ready yourself for the inevitable day of school. You groaned softly and picked out an outfit that would compliment your appearance.

Right about now, looks were the last thing you were worried about. From day to day you would carefully watch from your bedroom window to see if the strange looming figure would show up again. In retrospect, you should have known that it wouldn't come back.

Once dressed and ready to start anew, you grabbed your bag and pushed aside some looming strands of hair that came into your view. You trudged down the steps not bothering to grab anything to eat seeing as you were too nervous to digest anything.

A shaky hand reached for the knob to the outside society and you pulled it open. However, you didn't expect to see a certain troll sitting on your front steps as if waiting for you.

"Sollux? What are you doing and how long were you out here?" The troll jostled as the sudden voice rang out. He stood up and brushed himself off, the Gemini turned slowly to meet your gaze, "Ah, hey (Y/n). I've actually been thitting here for a couple of minuteth waiting for you..."

You stood dumbfounded for a moment before coming to your senses. "Thanks Sol, I appreciate it that you would actually be out here just to walk me to school." You started to walk ahead but stopped short when a hand grabbed your wrist gently. You slowly turned your head to see Sollux with a deep honey hue that spread from his cheeks to the tips of his ears, "Sollux are you okay-"

You were cut off when the hand suddenly pulled you in and something soft and warm molded into your lips.

Shock,happiness, and confusion all set it in at the same time. Sollux like you, more than a friend. You had to admit that these feeling had emitted from you as well but, you didn't want to risk making it awkward and ruining the perfectly good friendship that you valued so dearly to your heart.

When he pulled away you softly gasped for air. "(Y/n), I like you, no, thath not right, I'm red for you. I have been for a long time. Everyday that I thee you it hurth just a little more in my blood pumper withing that I could hold you and embrathe you. I didn't want to taint the thing we have now tho, I kept it to mythelf. But, when I thaw you in that accidently I couldnt take it anymore. I needed you with me to know that you were thafe and thound. With all that thaid, I'm only gonna athk once...will you (F/n) (M/n) (L/n) be my matethprite?"
