I stayed conscious during this fall, and when I awoke I was in the in between place again.  This time, thankfully, we were not all getting younger. I heard Matthias again.

"We're in the in the hollow. How are you? Jumping sickness gone?"

"If that's the pain when we change worlds than yes, I'm getting used to it." I said telepathically. There was no pain.

"Namaste." Said the girl in greeting.

"I don't think you know Gweyr." Matthias said.

"Who?" I asked.

"I am Gweyr. Elvish messenger from Asterkin. Official worker in the Ziet Spazio strain office." The girl said.

"Her name is Gweyr, she's an elf from someplace called Asterkin and her work pertains to time and space." Matthias translated.

"How do you understand her?" I asked.

"I took German and Greek and Spanish and Irish and Por-"

"Cool." I cut him off. "Where are you?"

"Behind you." He said. I turned around. Matthias was there, but there was no elf called Gweyr.

Suddenly Megan and Raven were standing beside me.

" Gweyr and I haven't tried to speak to them yet." Said Matthias, in my mind. I nodded. Megan and Raven had both stopped swaying. Like me, they had gotten more used to the, jumping sickness. Before I could ask Mathias where Gweyr was, Raven started talking.

" Do any of you guys think it's, well just plain strange that we changed age and were zapped to second grade, the year Jules was dreaming about last night?" She asked, once again pointing out the obvious.

"Nah, that happens all the time, that's why I carry my second grade yearbook around all the time. Can you imagine forgetting your best friend and having her come up to you and stuff?!" Said Megan, as upbeat as ever. All four of us laughed. It felt good.

"I would at least like to teach our sisters how to speak... telepathically?... to you two. Try to speak to them." Gweyr said. Matthias nodded.

"Raven?" I asked. No answer. "RAVEN???" Raven spun around and I pumped my fists.

"You learn fast!" I said telepathically. "Don't worry. It's me, Jules. Matthias is helping Meg right now." I could see that Raven was going to try to speak back to me. "Be careful. It feels like you're hitting a brick wall at first." I warned her. She paused, but then closed her eyes and I heard her voice in my head.

"Whoa, you're right." She said. "That hurts!"

"Matthias?" I heard her ask. She must have been pushing her voice towards both of us.

"Hey." He said.

"Meg?" Raven inquired. "Before you try to talk, be prepared for a brick wall impact! It's what Jules told me, and boy is she right." I stole a glance at Matthias at this and saw him turn red.

"Sorry Jules." He said to me. "I forgot to warn you."

"No kidding." I said.

"Hey all. This is Megan. I was wondering if-"

"Meg." I said. "You're not writing a letter. We can all hear you just fine." I said. Megan smiled from across the room I felt a churning in my stomach and knew that we were going to fall.

"Prepare for impact." I said with a grimace.
