"Calum, this is our second date, if you would call it that. There's nothing to be jealous of!" I exclaimed, tugging at my hair.
"Jealous? I'm not jealous, I was just saying." Calum replied, not looking away from the road.
"If you weren't jealous, why would you care if Ashton and I have a connection?" I retorted, starting to get annoyed. He was being so dramatic.
Calum just shook his head. "I guess you're right. Sorry, Soph." I smiled at the nickname, even though I was still slightly annoyed.
"Do you wanna go back to my place?" Calum asked nonchalantly. I giggled, then said "Sorry Cal, I would, but I can't." Calum frowned slightly. "Why not?"
"Calum, I'm on my period! God." I said, covering my face in embarrassment.
Calum's mouth just opened into an 'o' shape and he blushed a little bit. "Oh, um... sorry."
"It's fine." I replied with a small giggle.
He dropped me off at my place after I gave him directions. I made him promise to text me, and we said goodbye.

I rolled my eyes at his strange remark and put my phone on my bedside table and fell asleep.
