"C'mon Bubbles!" I yell with joy. I was running towards the bucket of water balloons that Janet set up for our water balloon fight. I got an advantage to get mine 2 minutes ahead of her because she felt like she thought I'd need it if I was up against her. Pfft, like Janet could beat me in my own game! But I took the advantage anyways. Bubbles sort of understood the gyst of the game, but when I picked up my water balloons, he picked one up and it exploded in his hand, scaring him into running a couple feet away.

"Bubbles!" I laughed whole-heartedly, "you gotta be gentle with them or else they'll pop!"

Bubbles slowly creeped back over cautiously and picked up a few much more carefully this time and both of us headed to my favorite hiding spot to stash our balloons while we waited for Janet. It was under a huge sycamore tree with a big gap in the side, perfect for storing the water balloons. I knew all the best spots on my property since I was so used to running around playing these kinds of games with whatever guest I had over at the time.

Soon, Janet rounded the corner to grab her water balloons without noticing us. At least not until Bubbles started making noises that made her look in our direction and see us, forcing me to make the spilt second decision to lunge at her with some balloons, chucking one at her head and then her stomach.

"Ahhh!" she squealed and tried grabbing a few to throw at me. I ran back to grab some more balloons and take cover and Bubbles started running towards her with a couple balloons of his own and aimed perfectly at her head, making it explode and soaking her.

"He got you good Janet!" I started to laugh as hard as I've ever laughed in my life and fell to the ground holding my stomach.

"Very funny Michael but here's my share of the fun!" She said and threw one right at my face and in one second I was soaking wet.

I quickly put my war face on and picked up a few more balloons as Janet tried to run away. I chased her all around while she was squealing and hit and missed her a few times. Bubbles was having the time of his life, he loved it when we had guests to play games with. Eventually we both ran out of balloons and headed inside for some lunch and I brought Bubbles to the room I kept him and his toys in.
