Main Meal

I was only 10 years of age when I ate a unknown meal.

It was when my father went missing two weeks ago. My neighbors invited us to dinner,after my dad went missing. I was playing my Pokemon Red. Capturing all 151,no big deal. So Mr.Hall,asked my mom how's work and all. But then all of a sudden my game boy died. And a strange man came to to me. He said his name was H.Edward L. Loe. But it was odd. I only talked to people like him when I'm stressed. He told me that Mr.Hall has a skeleton in his closet,one that leaves a mark. He also gave me 4 double A's. Saying that he was enjoying the game. And poof he vanished. I wondered what he meant. So dinner went on as normal. Mashed potatoes and lima beans. Though it was red. Edward looked at me and pointed towards the basement. Saying, Answers lie in the darkness. So I excused myself from the table but then Mrs.Hall came in with what appeared to be steak. But Haden appeared again and said don't eat it. The thing moved by itself."Your father's heart ." He said. The thing went boom boom. I bolted towards the basement. And what I found was startling. My father without his heart,a old man without his eyes, and a woman without her kidneys. He appeared, why did you want me to find this. He looked at me and said," I never want people to end up like me, grow up never knowing there father, watching someone kill a parent, and by the end of it all, huh your found swirling around on the ceiling fan. Shot,stabbed,beat, and hanged." A tear of fire engulfed the basement. I ran and saw Mr. and Mrs. Hall eating my mother alive. Eventually they tried to kill me but Edward,did something to them. He killed them and burned the body's in a field far away. Me,I kept the game boy, that now can play 3ds games. Haden gave it me back when I was 18. That was a year ago. But I look out into the night still asking me one question. Why would the living hell help me. It's simple to me now. I had the life he always wanted. I had a chance to rise above him. He is the true demon of hell.
