Chapter 13 - "Why not add another?"

"KATIE!!" I heard Luke yell from the bathroom. What could that be about? I heard more yelling after Katie made her way to the bathroom. They both soon walked into the living room. This brought attention to Ashton, Michael, and me.

"Guys, what's going on?" I asked Luke and Katie.

"Katie's pregnant.." He bit his lip.

"Are you guys excited?" Michael asked.

"Yeah, I guess," Katie looked at Luke. He nodded, "I'm just a little shocked.."

"Well, congrats, you two," I smiled at them. Ashton hadn't said anything yet. I think he was still surprised.

"So we're going to have three babies on this tour?" Ashton finally spoke.

"Yeah.." Luke looked down at Katie and smiled.

"Oh my god," Ashton rolled his eyes.

"It's not going to be terrible!" I told Ashton, "the twins will be over a year old then, they won't be just a few months old anymore."

"That's true, but we're still going to have three children on this tour."

"We already have two, why not add another?" Michael exclaimed, making us laugh.

*Katie's POV*

Later that night, Luke wasn't in the hotel. He was off somewhere, maybe to think about the baby or something. I had gone into Michael's room to talk to him.

"Hey Katie.." He smiled.

"Hey," I paused, "I needed to tell you something.. And Luke can't know," she was playing with her fingers.

"Why can't Luke know?"

"He'll get mad.."

"Is it about the baby?" he wondered, and I nodded, "What about the baby?"

"It's yours.." I said under my breath to Michael, but just enough that he could hear me. I saw him tense up out of the corner of my eye. (A/N: OHHH PLOT TWIST lol)

"Remember?" I looked at him.

"No.." Michael gaped. He remembered, alright. He just didn't believe it.

"This is your child," I made my way to Michael, took his hand, and placed on my stomach.

"Oh my-" he paused for a second to smile, "God.."

"What were we thinking anyways?" He asked worriedly.

"I don't know.." She began to cry, "I think I was drunk. It was about a week or two ago when we were partying, remember?"

"Oh my god," I paused, "you know Luke is going to be really mad, right?"

"Yes, and I feel so bad. I didn't want him to be mad at me. I love him. I don't want to hurt him."

"Well you already did, and it's just a matter of time until he finds out.."

"It's your fault too," I pointed out to Michael. He glared at me.

"Hey, it's true.." I glared back at him, "what are we going to do?"

"I don't know," he bit his lip. I was still crying.

"You need to tell Luke," He told me.

"I can't.. Just not for a little bit," I couldn't tell him quite yet.

"Why? He's going to be even more mad if he finds out later!" Michael exclaimed at me, "And how do you even know it's mine?"

"Yesterday, when you guys were practicing, I took a test, and that's what Luke had seen in the trash. I went to get a scan then, and they told me how far along I was. It can't be Luke's," I told him.

"Oh my god," the truth was really settling in now. He was going to be a dad, not Luke..

"How long will you wait to tell Luke?"

"As long as I can go, or until he accidentally finds out."

"Really?"

"I just can't tell him right now. If it gets to much to handle, or he hears me saying it, he'll know, I guess. That's just how I want him to find out."

"Are we going to tell Ash and Cal?"

"We can't. They might tell Luke. Do you promise not to tell ANY of the three?" I held up my pinky.

"I promise," he locked pinkies with me.

"Good," I laughed.

"I'm glad you're smiling.. I've loved your smile ever since I saw you smile for the first time," he smiled back.
