I took Tate and Violet in to see the baby. They loved babies for some reason, even though I still considered them babies myself. Katie seemed sad, yet happy at the same time.
"Are you okay, Katie?" I asked her.
"Luke broke up with me," she began.
"Oh, that's terri-" I was interrupted.
"But Michael and I are together now."
"Really? That's great," I smiled.
"I'm happy, but I don't like that Luke is sad and mad at me. I feel really bad for doing that to him. I don't want him to be hurt if like he is."
"I think he's going to be okay. He is really sad, but he'll be better within a few days. He'll get over the initial shock of the whole situation."
"That's good to hear. I really can't stand seeing him in pain. I really hope he's not terribly mad at me."
"He won't be that mad at you, I can promise you that. I think it's more jealousy than it is him being mad."
"Oh."
"He's probably jealous that the baby is Michael's and not his."
"Yeah.."
"He'll be fine. I can promise you that. He won't hold a grudge against you or Michael."
"Thank god."
"He's just mad right now. He probably doesn't like that you cheated on him either."
"I know," she looked down.

Later that day, I went home and into my room after putting the twins to sleep. I opened a drawer in my desk to try to find a pen, but I found something different.
It was Hayley's journal. She must've put it in there so I'd see it. I opened it and began to read it.
It was amazing, like I was talking to her again. She had also put in here a letter to the twins. I loved that. I needed to read that to them. Not quite yet, though. When I was ready and when I think they're ready.
Speaking of Hayley, Violet has been saying "muma" a lot lately, no I don't know what to tell her.
I'm snapped out of my thoughts as I hear the door downstairs slam.
"Calum!? Are you here?" Mali yelled.
"Yeah," I answered, running down the steps.
"What is it?" I asked her.
"It's Luke, he needs you.." She seemed worried.
"What did he do?"
"I have no idea, but when the boys couldn't get ahold of you, they called me to ask if you could go find him.."
"They can't find him?" I asked. She shook her head no, "oh my god."
I was panicking. I grabbed my shoes and slipped them on. I was about to leave when I called to Mali, "look after Violet and Tate! I'll be back!"
She agreed, and I left. I made my way to Luke's house to ask Liz if she had seen him. I wasn't given any information since they hadn't seen him.
"Where could he be?" I asked myself. I thought.
I made my way to Katie's parents' house. I knocked on the door, yet there was no answer. It was unlocked, so I just walked in. I heard crying. I ran upstairs and into Katie's room. There, in the bed, was Luke who was crying his eyeballs out.
"Luke!" I exclaimed, "you scared us half to death!"
"Why would you care?" He snapped.
"Luke, what do you mean?"
"Why would you care? I bet you've all had sex with my girlfriend," he spat.
"No! Only Michael has.. And they were drunk! Please, just let it go. We don't want you to get hurt, like I tried to hurt myself when I lost Hayley."
"Fine," he sat up, "it just hurts, you know? Losing the one you love."
"I understand. But at least Katie didn't die."
"But she's with Michael now. That makes me feel dead inside," he explained. I hugged him, trying to make him feel better. I think it worked.
